Hello all,
Thanks to those who were able to make the meeting last weekend. We will send out a recap in the next few days. There were some QR codes not working, so if you are interested (meeting tomorrow) please respond to this and I will send you the info.
The most important thing we need to do this week is VOTE!!!! Don’t forget to send in your ballot or drop at the ballot box.
This why Indivisible Tri-Cities exists: to hold our elected officials accountable. We do it one piece at a time, starting right here at home. While we don’t endorse candidates, we believe that informed voters are powerful voters.
That’s why we built the Voter Toolbox → https://linktr.ee/IndivisibleTriCitiesVoterTools
Your one-stop hub for:
🗳️ Registering or updating your voter registration
📮 Finding your nearest ballot drop box
📘 Reading the Benton & Franklin County voter pamphlets
📁 Exploring local candidate responses to see where they stand on education, science, free speech, and immigration
This week SIGN waving!!
There will be people going to John Dam Plaza around 3:30 TOMORROW to wave GET Out The VOTE signs.
If you can join, DO.

FAQ from A Better Richland
Richland registered voters will vote this November to update the Richland City Council election process to be like the rest of Washington’s First-Class Cities, Pasco, and Kennewick.
Currently all seven members of the Richland council are elected “at-large.” They can live anywhere in the city. A vote to change the city charter would mean five council members would have to be elected from the districts where they live and two would still be elected “at-large”. Each of the five proposed districts would have approximately 12,000 residents. An interactive map on our website can show you in which district you would live.

This past January, we made history together.
Over 600 immigrants, refugees, and allies filled the streets of Olympia and the halls of the capitol for WAISN’s largest-ever Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Day (IRAD). Shoulder to shoulder, we met with more than 90 legislators to demand what every one of us deserves: access to healthcare, earned benefits if we lose our jobs, safety, and dignity.
It was a day bursting with power and joy: with community members from across the state arriving from Wenatchee, Yakima, and the Tri-Cities; voices rising in Spanish, Portuguese, French, and Mam; children, elders, and workers united in purpose. Across 38 districts and 19 counties, we showed what solidarity looks like in action.

Across the country, attacks on immigrants are escalating. Yet here in Washington, we’ve continued to organize and secure major legislative wins and protections for immigrant communities, proving that a better future is possible. One built on courage, community, and care.
Your donation to IRAD helps ensure community members from across the state can once again gather in Olympia and advocate for their communities:
❤️🔥 $26 helps fund hand warmers for attendees who wait in the cold to speak truth to power
🗣️ $50 supports our Language Justice team, so that every voice is heard and everyone can fully participate
🚌 $100 fuels the buses bringing families to the capitol from Eastern, Central, and Western Washington.
🍲 $500 helps ensure our attendees and volunteers have access to food, prayer spaces, lactation rooms, and menstrual care throughout the event.
We will keep building a Washington where every immigrant and refugee belongs, where our voices shape policy, and where joy is an act of resistance.
With determination and gratitude,
The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network
[ENGLISH ABOVE]

We want to thank you for attending our General Meeting this month! Our monthly General Meeting allows community members from across Washington to share their experiences, discuss strategies for empowering their own local communities, and give us an opportunity to involve directly affected people in our strategic decision-making processes.
Just in case you missed it or if you had any questions, here is a brief summary of the most important points we discussed and ways you can get involved:
Policy and Advocacy
JOIN US for our next Community Advocacy Meeting. We know the path of organizing for immigrant justice is a struggle. Let’s continue creating places of belonging and advocacy for a truly inclusive state for all Washingtonians, regardless of immigrant status.
What: Community Advocacy Meeting
When: Tuesday, November 4th, 2025 6pm
Where: Zoom
Mark your calendar: IRAD 2026 is just around the corner! Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Day (IRAD) is our largest annual event committed to collective learning and action in the name of immigrant and refugee justice. IRAD Pre-registration for WAISN members will begin on November 10th, and general registration will open on December 10th!
Deportation Defense Hotline
Save, share and use the WAISN Deportation Defense Hotline number—1-844-724-3737.

Call or text the Hotline 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday to learn more about the rights that protect all Washingtonians, get support for detained persons, report immigration activity, request accompaniment to vulnerable locations, and to get connected with over 1400 immigration and community resources. Our Hotline organizers speak English and Spanish, and we offer interpretation in nearly 300 languages.
This month we talked about the importance of first-hand reports because they are most likely to have the information we need to activate a Rapid Response team to verify, document, and support. Details are crucial when documenting violations of civil and criminal rights or violations of Keep Washington Working (KWW) and allow us to elevate cases to our coalition partners and electeds. Our rumor control flyer has information about what to look for when making a report:
We also dove into the term “Deportation Defense” (DD), which represents an intentional reclamation of language normally used in legal contexts. And at its core, DD is about care, solidarity and accountability for the safety and well-being of immigrants. At WAISN it shows up in many ways, including through the Hotline, our network of Rapid Response and Accompaniment volunteers, and the Fair Fight Bond Fund. It also shows up as the Know Your Rights information and vital community resources we share.

Do you know what to do if ICE comes to your home or workplace? Come and learn that and more at one of our upcoming Know Your Rights Trainings:
What: Know Your Rights Training
When: Nov 19, 2025 6pm–8pm

Rapid Response

This month, we made explicit how Rapid Response is not mass mobilization and shared a statement from WAISN Executive Director Catalina Velasquez: “Rapid response is about protecting our neighbors in real time, and centering their safety, dignity, and autonomy. Mass mobilization has power, but when misaligned, it can turn immigrant lives into symbols for someone else’s outrage, and give the federal government cover to expand deportation efforts. We must be strategic and respond with nonviolence, not because we lack rage, but because we cannot afford to lose the ground immigrant organizers fought to build for decades. Solidarity with immigrants means listening, respecting immigrants’ agency, and showing up in ways that serve, not overshadow. We must continue building a strong, connected, and just world together. We must commit daily to collective care, defense, and justice.”
We invited attendees to share how they are practicing and witnessing Rapid Response in their communities and heard powerful stories of mutual aid, care, vigilance, and accountability from across the state.
You can also join us for a Rapid Response Training workshop to learn more about existing rapid response networks that support impacted families, build community resistance in the face of mass detention and deportation, and hold immigration agencies accountable for how they are showing up in our communities:
What: Rapid Response Training
When: Nov 5, 2025 6pm–8pm
Where: Zoom
What: Rapid Response Training
When: Dec 10, 2025 6pm–8pm

On September 11 and 12, almost 300 Rapid Response and Accompaniment volunteers, WAISN members, Steering Committee members, and WAISN Legal Round Table members from across the state came together for our first ever Deportation Defense Convening. Under the slogan Rooted Resistance, we started organizing for community-led deportation defense cases: working with impacted families to exert pressure at key points in the detention pipeline to try to get a detained person released.
WAISN facilitators led sessions on:
- Mapping the Deportation Pipeline
- Deportation Defense 101: Community-Led Casework
- Scenario planning
- Panel Discussion with 4 organizers from across the state experienced in DD casework
- Relationship building: basebuilding with community members and coalition building
- Powermapping
Community Resources and Membership
We are excited to share that we now have twelve active accompaniment volunteer teams across Washington — a huge accomplishment that reflects how our network has grown in both capacity and commitment.
We currently have 186 vetted volunteers who are ready to respond, accompany community members to court hearings, ICE check-ins, and other critical appointments. This growth means more families and individuals are not facing these moments alone — they have someone standing beside them in solidarity.
To request Accompaniment Support call the Deportation Defense Hotline —1-844-724-3737. If you are unable to connect with us please send a text message stating you need accompaniment and ensure you include the day of accompaniment needed and the best number to reach you.
Save the date: Accompaniment Volunteer Training is coming up! On November 12, we will be hosting a virtual training, open to anyone who wants to support our immigrant and refugee communities as an accompaniment volunteer. Stay connected — we’ll be sharing more details soon, including the exact time and registration link.
If you are part of an organization fighting for immigrant justice, we want to invite you to join WAISN as an official organizational member! WAISN Organizational Membership is a statewide and intersectional paid membership model where your organizational superpowers and capacity can both support immigrant justice and receive support from the entire WAISN network.
General Meeting
Our general meeting is the third Thursday of every month, please join us on November 20 for the next one!

P.S. If you witness immigration activity, raids and detentions in Washington, please call the WAISN Deportation Defense Hotline at 1-844-724-3737. We have organizers available Monday through Friday from 6am to 6pm to take your call. Our organizers speak Spanish and English, and we have interpretation available in nearly 300 languages.

- 🌵 LAST CHANCE: Arizona Extended Learning Trip 🌵

Welcome from Landon Labosky
Hello everyone! I’m Landon, and I’m excited to introduce myself as the new Program Director for the Washington Institute for a Democratic Future.
I am a proud Washingtonian whose career has been shaped by a love of service toward others, a deep belief in regular people’s involvement in their governments, and a lifelong commitment to making government function better for everyone. From leading policy initiatives to building coalitions that center equity and opportunity, my work has always been about helping people and communities thrive.

Why WAIDF – Why now?
Through graduate school, I asked myself, “Where in the country are there people who care as much about our civil service as I do?” Having gone through the WAIDF Fellowship in 2025, I can confidently say that I have found that group of people in all of you.
WAIDF is more than a fellowship, alumni, and speaker network; it’s a movement. The six-month program brings together people who believe in the power of their actions and collective voices, and helps fellows identify various ways to make an impact throughout their communities – whether here in Washington State, Washington, D.C., or abroad. Being involved takes many forms, and WAIDF sheds light on the myriad of opportunities, organizations, changemakers, and community leaders that are impacting change throughout our communities.
What’s ahead?
Over the next year, I’ll be focusing on a few key priorities:
- Strengthening our curriculum: Updating and expanding our Fellowship Program to reflect today’s political landscape, continuing the work of expanding equity, and amplifying diverse voices across Washington State.
- Deepening alumni engagement: In partnership with our Executive Director, Emily Wicks, we will work to expand our mentorship opportunities, hosting regional gatherings, and celebrating the impact our network has been making all across Washington.
- Building joy and connection into our work: Because joy is part of the movement, and we do our best work when we do it together.
Let’s Connect!
As I jump into this role, I am committed to connecting with anyone who has a thought about the program and where we could go to further advance our mission of progress in Washington. If you are reading this and have a speaker, issue, place, or idea in mind, please reach out! More ideas at the table create better outcomes for all of us in our great state.
Together, we are not just training Democrats; we are building a stronger, more inclusive, and more hopeful Washington for our collective future.
With gratitude and solidarity,
Landon Labosky
Program Director

Applications due November 11!
The Washington Institute for a Democratic Future (WAIDF) is now accepting applications for its 2026 Fellowship Class!
In times of chaos, we organize. Because it takes all of us to build a better future and create an ecosystem of leaders in politics, business, government, and public service, working together for progress.
WAIDF is a premier leadership development program that has prepared more than 700 leaders for careers in public service, politics, advocacy, and civic engagement across Washington state and beyond. Fellows spend six months learning directly from policymakers, community leaders, and experts while building a strong, lifelong network of peers and providing the tools and knowledge to mobilize.
What we’re looking for:
Applicants between the ages of 21 and 39 who are passionate about civic engagement, equity, and community leadership. Ideal candidates possess a combination of professional or volunteer achievements, unique life experiences, and a strong desire to contribute to Washington’s civic and political life.
How to apply:
The application includes a resume, personal statement, and letters of recommendation, with select candidates invited to interview in early December. Our process is designed to highlight your leadership potential, community connections, and commitment to equity.

LAST CHANCE: Arizona Extended Learning Trip
November 13 – 16, 2025 • Phoenix, AZ
WAIDF has an incredible extended learning trip planned in early November, and here’s just some of what you can expect:
- Visit to the AZ Governor’s Office of Strategic Planning & Budgeting: An inside look at Arizona’s state priorities, long-term planning, and how fiscal strategy shapes public policy.
- Lunch and conversation with Ruben Reyes: District Director for Congressman Raúl Grijalva & District Advisor to Congresswoman Adelita Grijalva, for a candid discussion about border politics, and what representation looks like in one of the most dynamic regions in the country.
- Behind-the-scenes legislative briefing with Arizona’s Democratic leadership team on coalition-building, governing in the minority, and advancing equity-driven policy.
- Meeting with Charlene Fernandez, Chair, Arizona Democratic Party and Former State Lawmaker, for a veteran leader’s take on grassroots organizing, candidate recruitment, and what it takes to win and govern, in Arizona’s shifting political landscape.
- A conversation with Tempe Mayor Corey Woods for a forward-looking discussion on local innovation, housing, sustainability, and what’s next for Tempe’s dynamic civic landscape.
- Time with former Washingtonian and Political Strategist Rory Steele, Executive Director, Freedom to Learn Foundation & Intersection, exploring the intersection of education policy, freedom of information, and democracy in action.
- And of course, pool time, connection, and good eats!
Get your application in today. A member of WAIDF will reach out with further details.
Don’t be the one watching Instagram stories with regret.
Help Us Keep the Door Open for Every Future Leader
In moments like these, it’s easy to feel overwhelmed. The pace and harm of national politics, the cruelty, chaos, and fear many communities feel, it can make it hard to know what to do.
But we can take action right now by supporting the WAIDF Scholarship Fund.
Your gift helps ensure cost is never the reason someone can’t say “yes” to the Washington Institute for a Democratic Future. Every dollar reduces tuition, offsets travel for fellows across the state, and helps our cohorts reflect the full diversity of Washington’s communities.
This season, we’re working to raise $10,000 by December 31 for the Class of 2026.
Together, we can meet this moment with determination, because every fellow we support is one more leader ready to defend democracy, strengthen communities, and build a more just future for Washington State
Give today to the WAIDF Scholarship Fund.

I hope you’re doing well and finding at least a little time to breathe amidst all of the work that keeps our movement going. I’m reaching out because I think your members might be interested in a program that has helped shape many of the Democratic leaders serving our state today.
I serve on the board of the Washington Institute for a Democratic Future (WAIDF), a six-month fellowship that’s been training and connecting emerging progressive leaders for more than 25 years. Our alumni include hundreds of people who’ve gone on to serve as elected officials, campaign staff, labor and nonprofit leaders, policy advocates, and community organizers, from local boards to the state legislature and beyond.
Our 2026 fellowship applications are now open, and we’re eager to reach people who are passionate about making a difference but may not yet know about WAIDF. The program is ideal for people early in their careers, people looking to make a career change, engaged community members who want to increase their impact, or for those exploring how to get involved in public service, campaigns, or advocacy.
At a time when so much is at stake for our democracy and when so many are asking, “What can I do to help?” WAIDF offers a place to learn, connect, and take action in a way that builds lasting impact.
To help prospective applicants learn more, we’re hosting several upcoming info sessions across the state (and online):
Upcoming Info Sessions
- Oct 19 | 5–7 p.m. | Métier Brewing – Seattle, WA
- Oct 22 | 6–8 p.m. | Spokane Club – Spokane, WA
- Oct 23 | 6–8 p.m. | The Bus Stop – Olympia, WA
- Oct 28 | 6–8 p.m. | The Living TapRoom – Tacoma, WA
- Oct 30 | 7–8 p.m. | Virtual on Zoom
You can find details about the fellowship here: https://democraticfuture.org/our-program/
And apply here:https://democraticfuture.org/apply/
- Regular deadline: Tuesday, November 11th at 11:59 p.m.
- Late deadline (with additional fee): Tuesday, November 18th at 11:59 p.m.
We also would be deeply grateful if you could help us spread the word by:
- Announcing the fellowship and info sessions in your next meeting or newsletter, and
- Sharing our links on your social media channels.
I’ve added some suggested language and images (after my signature block) that you can use in your newsletter or in posts.
Furthermore, we have opportunities for folks to stay involved with WAIDF even if they’re not applying this year, including our rebooted study missions (next up: Arizona in November, applications still open!), limited spaces for community members to join our classes for programming weekends in places like D.C. and Long Beach, WA, or at events like our Election Recap.
Thank you for all you do, for building community, protecting our democracy, and helping grow the next generation of leaders our movement needs.
Please don’t hesitate to reach out to me or our executive director, Emily Wicks (emily@democraticfuture.org) if you have any questions, comments, or ideas.
In solidarity,
Meadow Johnson

There’s a lot of talk about “centrism” in politics — but what is “the center” really about? Is it about splitting the difference between the far-right and far-left? Or is it about standing for things that are broadly popular and broadly beneficial?
Centrism can mean a lot of different things, but as Civic Action founder Nick Hanauer argues in The New Republic, the neoliberal centrism that has long dominated our politics is fundamentally about balancing the interests of the very wealthy with the interests of everyone else.
The neoliberal centrism of splitting differences is how you end up with a federal minimum wage stagnant at $7.25 for 15 years — it’s right in the center of the $0 that wealthy extremists want, and the $15/hour that’s overwhelmingly popular.
That’s not centrism, that’s defending the status quo.
But there’s also another kind of center — a majoritarian center that’s focused on centering the interests of the majority of people. It’s not about splitting differences — it’s about pursuing policies that are broadly popular and broadly beneficial.
That’s what true majoritarian centrism is about. It’s the neoliberal center that’s actually extreme.
Check out Nick’s piece, share it with friends & family, and let us know what you think.

Halloween should be a night of fun, not fear. But in too many communities, celebrations are overshadowed by the reality of unsecured firearms and preventable tragedies.
Pledge $20 to protect vulnerable communities.
We are working every day to make sure safety isn’t seasonal. Through education, advocacy, and partnerships, we’re helping families secure firearms safely, supporting community-based violence intervention programs, and passing laws that save lives year-round.
Your support makes this work possible. Every donation, whether $10 or $100, fuels real solutions that keep families safe long after the candy is gone.
Give now to support safety in every season.

Our movement requires a constant beat – an unrelenting momentum in our communities and homes. A lot of that momentum is owed to the dedication of gun violence prevention chapter teams across Washington. From Thurston County to Port Angeles, we have seen gun violence become the number one priority across the state.
We know that tackling this issue requires grit, dedication, and a little bit of scrappiness. From spearheading campus organizing, community engagement, tabling, and roundtable discussions – it’s through the tireless dedication of the individual that makes a movement what it is.
This email serves as a thank you. A thank you to the hours put forward in a space that’s uncomfortable to confront, but we persist. Through the hours of chaos and heartbreak we will always find a way forward – together.
So thank you for persisting. We will continue to confront this horrible public health crisis and we couldn’t think of better partners while doing so.
If you’re interested in the idea of a chapter team, consider joining or creating one today.

Washingtonians are voting – that means we have a chance to support candidates and initiatives that will fix our upside down tax code and make the rich pay what they owe. One tool that all Washingtonians have access to is the FUSE Progressive Voter’s Guide! Here’s how to use it:
- Click the link
- Scroll down to ”Locate My Guide” and click “Locate By Address”
- Enter your address, then go to your voter’s guide!
We do want to make a special call out to vote APPROVE on Measure 8201! Invest in Washington has endorsed this measure because it has the potential to bolster our state’s long-term care program that will serve vulnerable older adults and disabled Washingtonians.
If passed, 8201 won’t cost taxpayers a penny, but projections suggest it could raise investment returns by at least $67 billion over the next 50 years. In the face of huge healthcare cuts that Congress passed earlier this year, passing 8201 is essential.
REMINDER! Get your ballots in the mail early. According to NPR, the USPS may not postmark your ballot the day you mail it, which could interfere with your ballot being counted. Better yet drop it in a nearby State Elections box ballot box. No postage is ever needed on WA State ballots.

In this issue:
- WA lawmakers confront reality of cuts coming from One Big Beautiful Bill
- Washington families brace for Trump‘s ‘Big Beautiful Bill’ impacts
- Shifting Medicaid costs to WA will be more expensive for all of us
- These Washington billionaires are some of the richest in the country for 2025
- Most Americans say taxing the rich is best way to reduce federal debt: Gallup
“Every month, I receive my basic food package, which includes eggs, milk, fruit, and bread – enough to last a week. I have already seen reductions in the program. Just last month, we were provided fewer groceries than before.”
That’s what Julia Perez, a mother in Yakima, shared at our recent press conference about how her family is feeling the effects of the federal cuts to SNAP. She’s not the only one.
Reverend Jan Bolerjack, a Pastor in Tukwila, said, “Prior to probably a year ago, we were giving about 50 pounds of food to every family that came through, and families could come through three times a week to the food pantry. Now, families can only come once a week and they’re getting about 15 pounds of food.”
Congress’s cuts in the Big Ugly Bill are having real effects on real people. Now, it’s up to elected leaders in Washington state to respond. As we prepare for the 2026 legislative session, we’ll be working closely with our partners and lawmakers to pass legislation that makes the wealthy pay what they owe so we can fund the programs that families depend on.
Thank you,
Treasure

WA LAWMAKERS CONFRONT REALITY OF CUTS COMING FROM ONE BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL

Julia Perez from Yakima said at Thursday’s news conference that families like hers struggle to afford groceries and pay bills. “H.R. 1 is poised to strip away programs that keep food on the table for millions of families like mine,” the mom of three said in Spanish, which was then relayed in English by a translator.
Roger Haick worked for 35 years as an ICU and cardiac nurse in Eastern Washington. He said that since the new law passed, Providence Hospital in Chewelah has closed certain services in anticipation of Medicaid cuts. Staff have also left the community for other work.

WASHINGTON FAMILIES BRACE FOR TRUMP’S ‘BIG BEAUTIFUL BILL’ IMPACTS

Faith leaders say food insecurity is growing statewide. Pastor Jan Bolerjack, who leads Riverton Park United Methodist Church in Tukwila — a congregation that shelters asylum seekers and runs a food pantry — says food banks can no longer keep up.
“I looked in a bag the other day and it was a jar of chili sauce, two onions and coffee — now tell me how you make a meal out of that,” Bolerjack said.
She says donations from partners like Food Lifeline and Northwest Harvest have dropped sharply, leaving families with less and forcing her church to cut back from serving multiple times a week to just once.

SHIFTING MEDICAID COSTS TO WA WILL BE MORE EXPENSIVE FOR ALL OF US

Our state health care system is facing big challenges, but the solutions are simple.
Preserve Apple Health access. Keep medications affordable. Pay for telehealth. While you’re at it, protect the financing tools that stabilize safety-net care.
Let health centers do what we do best: solve problems early, in the lowest-cost setting. Let’s stop paying more for worse outcomes. Keep care in clinics, not the ER.

THESE WASHINGTON BILLIONAIRES ARE SOME OF THE RICHEST IN THE COUNTRY FOR 2025

Washington state is the home of Microsoft, Amazon and other global brands, plus storied sports teams, iconic landmarks and natural wonders — and it’s also home to six of the 400 richest people in the U.S., according to a new list by Forbes.
Most, if not all, of the Washington billionaires on the list are likely familiar names.
They live in and around Seattle, and they have a combined net worth of more than $340 billion, per Forbes. To put that in perspective, their combined wealth is more than four times the state’s roughly $78 billion operating budget for 2025-27.

MOST AMERICANS SAY TAXING THE RICH IS BEST WAY TO REDUCE FEDERAL DEBT

Raising income taxes for wealthy Americans is the most popular way of reducing the federal debt, according to the latest Gallup poll.
Only two proposals receive a majority support of U.S. adults: 63 percent back “increasing income tax rates for upper-income Americans,” and 54 percent support “increasing tax revenues by making major changes to the current federal tax code.”

Dear Friends,
As I shared at our Evening of Justice at Wing Luke earlier this month, Northwest Immigrant Rights Project continues to defend and advance immigrant rights during this difficult time because of the continued support of people like you.
Earlier this year, when we encountered ICE Enforcement Removal Operations officers at the Seattle Immigration Court, our supporters responded immediately—over 300 individuals volunteered to be present at the courthouse in response. Strong community support and presence helped minimize the impact of the government’s cruelty, and they eventually backed down- no longer terrorizing our communities at the Seattle immigration court.
Hundreds of members of our legal community have attended rapid response training sessions, committing to be available at a moment’s notice in the event of an immigration raid, and hundreds more have taken on pro bono immigration cases—providing direct legal representation to community members, including people held in immigration detention at the Northwest Detention Center in Tacoma.
And beyond the impact of your direct action, thousands of you have watched our monthly webinars covering important immigration updates in order to stay informed of your legal rights in the midst of the changing immigration landscape. We need your continued help to ensure that we are here for our client communities, ready to take their calls, listen to their stories, and fight alongside them in court. Thank you for your support in this work. If you haven’t had the chance to donate to NWIRP this year you can still make a contribution at this link.
NWIRP has been able to quickly respond to new threats, increased detentions, and ICE presence at immigration court, thanks to donor support, and most critically, thanks to dedicated pro-bono attorneys and legal volunteers. Please join us at Seattle’s Wing Luke Museum for our Evening of Justice to honor the volunteers who are willing and able to step up to help our client communities at this crucial time. Your presence will help us celebrate our legal community and raise essential funds to continue this important work.
Thank you for being part of our community.
With immense gratitude,

Malou Chávez (she/her/ella)
Executive Director
PS: If you’re interested in taking on a pro bono case or volunteering with us in a different capacity, please see more information here.

Estimado/as Amigo/as,

Malou Chávez (she/her/ella)
Directora Ejecutiva

While we missed seeing you at last week’s Evening of Justice, I want to express our sincere appreciation for your support and continued interest in our mission.
At the event, our keynote speaker Beth Farmer said, “volunteering with NWIRP gives me hope. Sitting face-to-face with someone, helping them collect evidence, providing a report that could literally change their future—that gives me a sense of power and purpose. It reminds me that each of us can do something. Each of us has a role to play.”
If you are interested in taking a pro bono case with us, or at the very least learn more about our work, please email our pro bono coordinators, Jordan Wasserman (jordan@nwirp.org) or Bill Schwarz (bill@nwirp.org).
We know that the federal administration has a stated goal of mass detention and mass deportation of immigrant communities, and we are experiencing changes in immigration law we have not seen in more than three decades. But we also know that as NWIRP takes action to defend the rights of our client communities, our clients and the NWIRP team are not alone in this fight.
We need your help to ensure that there is no doubt in the minds of our client communities that we are here for them and ready to take their calls, listen to their stories, and fight alongside them in court. Thank you for your support in this work. If you haven’t had the chance to donate to NWIRP this year you can still make a contribution towards our mission at nwirp.org/donate.
Thank you for being part of our community.
With immense gratitude,
Malou Chávez
Executive Director
P.S: We will be hosting a free virtual immigration update later today. We’ll be giving an update in English from 5 – 545, and then the same updates in Spanish from 545-630pm. You can register for the webinar here.

The Yakima Herald says:
As devastating as [cutting Medicaid] would be for individuals, it also imperils critical basic funding for hospitals and nursing homes around the state.
“Hospitals will close in Washington state, in rural parts of our state and urban parts of our state,” Ferguson warned last month. “Take that to the bank. That’s going to happen. Nursing homes in our state will close.”
Newhouse is sticking to his story, though, falsely claiming that the Medicaid system is rife with fraud and waste, and that this bill merely cleans up the books and keeps benefits flowing for legitimate recipients.
But Newhouse is no fool. He chose his words carefully before he voted.
He may have promised not to directly cut Medicaid, but he knew full well that’s exactly what H.R. 1 would ultimately mean. Now he’s coldly trying to justify turning his back on the harm this heartless legislation will cause the 4th District.
That’s not just disappointing or dismaying. It’s disgraceful.
Rep. Newhouse can change his vote when this bill comes up again. We know that personal stories and experiences can powerfully persuade members of Congress. Can you share your reasons for opposing Medicaid cuts?
Thank you for all you do!
Sincerely,
Emilio Meraz-Rodriguez

The Washington Health Trust is back in the Senate
The 2025 legislative session has started, and it’s time to contact our elected officials! Once again, Senator Bob Hasegawa from Legislative District 11 has introduced the Washington Health Trust (WHT). We’re incredibly grateful for Senator Hasegawa’s advocacy on this critical issue, and now, it’s time for us to spring into action. We need co-sponsors to the bill ASAP. The deadline for co-sponsors is 5 PM today, so time is of the essence. See the Actions below.
We’re Spreading the Word!

Whole Washington volunteers, Board members, and our Executive Director were in Olympia on opening day, dropping off literature and making contact with office staff. It’s a bustling time in the capitol and a great opportunity for us to create some heat.
As Jim noted, we’re “taking our bill to our legislators before they’re even sworn in.” Thank you to all for your time, passion, and advocacy!
What are the chances for the WHT this year?
We’ve been advised Senate Bill 5233 will not receive a hearing this session. It’s our responsibility and obligation to not go silent. Our healthcare is much too important.
A hearing on comprehensive universal healthcare is more pressing than ever. Washington State has a massive budget shortfall (10 to 12 billion in the coming four years). Opportunites to save money need to be reviewed, and the WHT is just such an opportunity.
Both the Universal Health Care Commission Report and the 2021 Gerald Friedman analysis, show significant savings (anywhere from 738 million to 12 billion, depending on the model) while providing expanded benefits like vision, dental, and mental health services. We’d feel better and we’d save money. It’d be negligent to ignore a close review of the bill at this time.
What actions do we take right now?
There’s plenty we can do to press the WHT forward. Right now, these are the two big ones.
- Make Online Comments in support of the bill. Click on the top green button on the right that says Send a comment on this bill to your legislators. You’ll click the Support button and add your personal comments. Remember to send to your Senator plus both House Representative
- Contact your elected officials. This is the most vital action you can do today! Call or write them and let them know you support this Universal Healthcare bill. Ask your Senator to co-sponsor SB 5233 as soon as possible. Ask your Representatives to introduce a companion bill. Need help finding contact info? Use the District Finder here.
Reach out to Republicans and Independents too. Universal Healthcare is good for all of us!
Please reply back to this email if you make contact or leave a message. We’d love to hear what actions you’re taking and what you’re hearing from their offices.
Want to know more about the new WHT?
Join us tomorrow for the Virtual Town Hall! We’ll cover what’s different, share our stories, and plan together how to make the most of this moment!
Thank you so much for anything and everything you put in today to make some noise and increase the awareness for this legislation. This is not Whole Washington’s bill. It’s Washington’s bill. We can make our lives better. We just have to demand it.
In passionate and hopeful solidarity,
Whole Washington

One Million Rising Registrants,
After an incredible summer of organizing together and building our capacity to fight authoritarianism into the future, join us for our final One Million Rising call this Wednesday, October 8, at 8pm ET/5pm PT.
Many of you have been taking part in our Signs of Solidarity, Ground Avelo, and other One Million Rising campaigns. Come hear more about how they’ve been going, how you can stay plugged in, and how they’ve evolved as you’ve been spreading strategic non-cooperation across the country.
The highlight of this call will be our launch of the Courage Collectives.
For One Million Rising, we talked about how the best way to fight authoritarianism isn’t by aiming at the top, but through addressing the pillars upholding the regime. Those pillars can be houses of faith, educational institutions, military branches, and any number of other organizations, societies, or groupings of people that hold community power. But we didn’t talk about how to organize to address these pillars.
Unlike your typical organizing model, pillars-based organizing may not be local. As an example, alumni of a university that is upholding the agenda of an authoritarian administration may be located across the country. Come learn how we’ll be organizing pillars-based communities with our Courage Collectives. **Bonus: We’ll also be giving a training on what power mapping is and how to connect it to your pillars-based organizing work.
After the October 8 call, One Million Rising will wind down as a freestanding program, and the infrastructure and campaigns will fold back into the No Kings movement, the new Courage Collectives, and other organizing paths we’ll share on the call. Join us this Wednesday to learn more.
Thank you for growing this movement with us,
The One Million Rising Team
P.S. If you haven’t registered for your local October 18 No Kings Day event yet, find an event near you on our event map. ICE’s latest campaign targets kids as young as 14 – a horrifying escalation of Stephen Miller’s anti-immigrant crusade that has traumatized countless children. Help us end this campaign of terror.
Now, ICE has set its sights on the most vulnerable among us – children who came alone to the U.S. in search of protection or to reunite with their families.
ICE is trying to coerce these kids into signing horrifying documents, pressuring them to give up their rights to go to court and instead leave the country – abandoning their legal cases for protection and going back to countries where they face violence, neglect, or even trafficking. Some children have even been told that their parents will be arrested if they don’t sign.
This is abuse. These operations are traumatizing, dehumanizing, and manipulative – and we must act now to stop the government from continuing to take advantage of unaccompanied children.
The trauma that immigrant children are put through in this country is horrifying. Just this month, during an ICE raid in Chicago, young kids were pulled out of their beds in the middle of the night, separated from their parents, zip-tied, and put in trucks on the side of the street.
It’s any parent’s nightmare – and it can’t continue.
Every child should be treated with dignity and care. I hope you’ll join us in taking action today.
With thanks for all you do,

What this nation has experienced at the hands of the Trump administration over the past several months is as troubling as it is illegal.
From intensified attacks on free speech to large-scale and warrantless immigration raids to military troops in cities across the country – the president is using the immense power of the federal government to try and silence opposition through fear.
As alarming as these escalated abuses of power continue to be, we the people have proven time and again that we will never stop showing up for each other and for our democracy. Together, we can win – and that is why the ACLU is bringing together our entire community for a crucial event next week:

TIME FOR A RAISE
A new study recently circulated on Bluesky examined the impact of higher pay rates on the hiring process, and discovered that — just as you might expect — when employers raise wages, they fill open positions more quickly. Or, as the study specifically found: raising pay by 4.3% reduces the time a job remains open by 27%.
It’s always helpful to have specific numbers for stuff like this, and the researchers here did a service. But this kind of study also raises the question of why it is that common sense assumptions which benefit workers apparently need to get tested and proven, while assumptions that benefit the wealthy few so often get treated like simple realities of the world. Why is it that we continue to live in a world where the impact of the minimum wage is a topic worth studying over and over and over again, while the impact of CEO pay is rarely even discussed?
Make it make sense.

in additional rent was paid by tenants to landlords who used the RealPage price-fixing algorithm to set their rents. Nationally, about 1 in 4 landlords use the software, which is the subject of a federal lawsuit for its anticompetitive nature.

believe that insurance companies denying claims have a “great deal” or “moderate amount” of responsibility for the assassination of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. A similar number said excess health insurance company profits bear some responsibility.

are homeless in the USA, a record-high number which results from a record-fast increase over the previous year. However, homelessness among veterans has declined, due to a substantial federal investment in addressing that particular aspect of our affordable housing crisis.

One of the fundamental ideas of neoliberal economics is that markets are almost always right. According to Economics 101, when you aggregate millions of individual decisions to buy or sell various assets, a particular kind of predictive genius emerges. This is supposed to be a big part of what makes markets work, and why market economies are just oh-so-wonderful for everyone.
It’s a tidy theory, but if this were all true, one place you’d definitely expect to see it proven is in how markets anticipate the future direction of US interest rates. After all, this is one of the very biggest markets around, and one that has massive impacts on the valuations of almost every other asset out there. So it’s striking to see the chart below, which shows both the changing levels of interest rates in recent years, and a series of whiskers that show how the markets anticipated future rates would turn out to be. What stands out here immediately is how wildly and consistently wrong the markets have been — at basically all points this century so far. It’s enough to make you wonder what else isn’t quite how they taught it in Econ 101.

When the federal government issues fines for violations of securities law, the purpose is twofold. First, it’s supposed to provide restitution to anyone who lost money on account of the crime. Second, it’s supposed to penalize the lawbreaker in order to deter future violations by them or anyone else. That’s a big part of why hefty fines are often announced in major press releases: so legal consequences are highlighted, and social norms are strengthened.
But as Dave Michaels writes in the Wall Street Journal, $10 billion of these fines have gone uncollected for years — so long, in fact, that the SEC is giving up on collecting them. In one case, they’ve been seeking penalties from a particular financier for 31 years — since the beginning of the Clinton presidency! They even charged him with additional violations just last year. But the lawbreaker simply hasn’t responded. Instead, he turned the tax haven of St Kitts into his own personal haven from American authorities. Not only does the US Treasury take a financial hit as a result, but the entire premise of SEC enforcement is undermined. Because if this guy can brazenly get away with stuff like this, why should anyone else even pretend securities laws matter in the first place?

I’m Kendra.
I’m the first fellow in Women’s March’s pilot program to open doors for red state & rural organizers who are building their way into movement work from outside traditional organizing pipelines.
We can’t build a movement led only by the comfort class; those of us from working-class roots must shape the strategy as much as we do the heavy lifting.
You’ve seen the maps—mostly red, with small blue dots marking the cities. But those red areas hold a far more complex story, and I’m leading the charge to organize the people who live, love, and fight for change in them.
Together,

After we sent our last email about ICE, new reports clarified that the “missile warhead” claim came from a coding error in federal records. We always want to be accurate — and that correction matters.
But the bigger truth hasn’t changed:
ICE’s weapons spending has skyrocketed nearly 700%, pouring tens of millions into guns, armor, and chemical munitions — the tools of a secret police being built in real time.
The threat to protest, free speech, and immigrant communities is only growing.
Tell Congress: check ICE’s power. There should be no secret police in America.
Credibility builds power. Accountability builds trust.
Let’s keep both.

Dear MoveOn member,
We’re writing to you today on behalf of MoveOn’s entire staff team to share some reflections on this scary moment in our nation and an update on MoveOn’s next steps.
But first, we want to say thank you.
MoveOn is defined by our millions of members, and, now more than ever, we are so grateful that each and every one of you is in this fight with us.
Just as it has been for you, this has been an incredibly difficult year for our staff. MoveOn’s team is made up of a diverse patchwork of queer people, trans people, people of color, immigrants, people with disabilities, and more—all working hard to push back against Donald Trump’s authoritarian regime while facing the harsh realities in our communities day in and day out.
But we keep getting up every day to do this work because we know that this isn’t only about how we push back against or slow down Trump’s cruelty—it is how we defeat it once and for all. It is how we win and build a future that is more equitable, more just, and more sustainable than the flimsy artifice of fascism that Trump has attempted to lash together over the last few months.
The cracks are already beginning to show.
We went from 3 million people in the streets for the Hands Off! protests in April to 5 million for the first No Kings Day in June to 7 million in big cities, small towns, blue counties, and ruby-red districts earlier this month in the largest single day of political protest in U.S. history.
Democrats are winning special elections up and down the ballot and turning races that Republicans were winning by double digits into toss-ups.
And Trump’s approval ratings, especially on the economy, are tanking.
We are building the momentum that we need to finally sweep Trump’s MAGA movement into the dustbin of history, and MoveOn is ready to lead the way. But the reality is that as a grassroots organization, we are able to do this work only with the financial support of members like you, and we have seen a sharp downturn in our fundraising efforts over the last few weeks.
Our team is already hard at work putting together the plan for what we hope will be the largest midterm election campaign in our history, mobilizing millions of people for a historic blue wave that will put a real check on Trump’s abuses of power.
Our goal is to launch that plan early next year, but we have to make budgeting decisions in the next couple of weeks that will determine how big or small our program can be. And with just hours left in October, we still need to add 500 monthly donors to meet our goal.
If we go into November with a funding gap, we might be forced to scale down our program before it even gets off the ground. In a moment where so much is on the line, we cannot afford to cut back.
So we’re asking: Can you become a monthly donor before midnight to help us ensure we have the funding needed to go big with our 2026 election program?
No, I’m sorry, I can’t make a monthly donation.
We are so grateful for your steadfast support and partnership in this fight. Together, we are going to win.
Thanks for all you do.
–Katie, Alyssa, Cecilia, Julia, and the rest of the team

Dear MoveOn member,
Rachel Maddow just covered groundbreaking new research about the resistance to Donald Trump’s authoritarianism—and the findings are remarkable.1
The title of the new research from Harvard captures the heart of it: “The Resistance Reaches into Trump Country.”2
The researchers found that anti-Trump protests are more geographically diverse and persistent than in Trump’s first term and now reach into deep-red Trump country.3 In fact, the researchers show that the median county protesting Trump cast more votes for Trump in 2024 than for Kamala Harris.4 That’s not a typo.
Let that sink in: We’re organizing in the reddest parts of America—and more people than ever are showing up. And the Harvard researchers released this new data BEFORE 7 million people took to the streets for the historic No Kings protests on October 18!
We have to keep building. Will you donate $5 a month to MoveOn to help us keep organizing and growing the nonviolent movement against Trump’s authoritarianism?
No, I’m sorry, I can’t make a monthly donation.
Protests have occurred in over 60% of U.S. counties—the most geographically widespread in all of U.S. history.5 In Kingsport, Tennessee—a county Trump won by 54 points—2,000 people lined nearly an entire mile of a downtown street at the first No Kings protest in June. In the small town of Gillette, Wyoming, 175 people protested in a county where Trump won 88% of the vote.6
As Rachel Maddow explains, if you want your resistance movement to work and wield power, it needs to be big, sustained, and nonviolent, and it needs to take root in new places where new people will join you.7
That’s precisely what we’re doing. And it’s working.
MoveOn is organizing in communities from coast to coast, in blue states and red states alike. We’re fighting Trump’s authoritarianism with the most powerful tool we have: nonviolent protest that brings people together across every divide. But, we need your help to have the financial resources to keep it up.
Will you donate $5 a month to MoveOn to power the organizing to stop Trump’s tyranny and build a country where everyone can thrive?
No, I’m sorry, I can’t make a monthly donation.
This is what hope looks like: millions of people in every corner of America standing up together.
Your donation today helps us reach one more town, support one more local organizer, bring one more community into this movement.
That’s how we win.
Thanks for all you do.

March For Our Lives Virtual Events

This Halloween, fear feels different.
It’s not the kind that comes from haunted houses or scary movies — it’s the kind that comes from living in a country where gun violence has become an everyday reality.
It’s been a terrifying year for too many families. Children are afraid to go to school. Parents holding their breath when their kids don’t text back. Communities shattered, again and again. And what’s most haunting is how easy it has become for our leaders to look away.
But fear isn’t the whole story. All across the country, young people are refusing to accept this as our future. We’re showing up, organizing, voting, creating art, and building power — turning grief and anger into something stronger: courage.
Because what’s truly scary isn’t what’s hiding in the dark. It’s doing nothing while lives are lost in the light of day.
This Halloween, help us keep fighting for a future where safety isn’t a privilege — it’s a promise.
With courage,
March For Our Lives

Forty-three million Americans are set to lose food benefits on November 1st. With cuts to the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP) looming, families across the country are scared, food banks are under-resourced, and local mutual aid programs are scrambling for volunteers. Meanwhile, President Trump is hard at work building a golden ballroom bankrolled by billion-dollar corporations like Amazon, Microsoft, Apple, and Meta, replacing the newly demolished East Wing of the White House.
The majority of people losing SNAP are white people, which means this is a prime opportunity to talk to them about what’s happening in this country. We know winning elections is critical to ensuring a future where no one goes hungry, so SURJ members are calling 60,000 white voters in the Virginia governor’s election. If we can boot MAGA from the Governor’s Mansion in a Southern state like Virginia, a region the far right relies on to hold power, we can deal a powerful blow to MAGA at the ballot box.
The current Virginia governor — who, when he was elected, was one of the richest politicians in the country — has taken plays right out of the MAGA playbook, like instituting a hotline in schools where students and teachers were encouraged to report trans kids to the government. The GOP candidate running this year is his lieutenant governor and hand-picked successor.
Virginia is set to have 850,000 people lose SNAP benefits because Republicans will not negotiate unless they get to rip healthcare away from Americans. The current Virginia governor is using this as an opportunity, just like MAGA, to lie and blame Democrats for this ahead of the election, intending to use white voters’ suffering to build power for MAGA’s white supremacist agenda and get his candidate elected.
We can’t let them get away with it. While the Virginia governor’s race isn’t as exciting as electing Zohran Mamdani in NYC, it is still critical. While we build the future with candidates like Mamdani, we also must block MAGA at every turn, especially in a state like Virginia.
Every MAGA defeat we can notch is a win fo r all of us. We’ve got eight days. Can you join us?
In solidarity,
SURJ

“Whenever I saw racial justice-aligned signs, I approached the person and said I was a volunteer with SURJ and asked if they would take a flyer explaining what we were about. Everyone I offered the paper to took it. Many people thanked me for the opportunity to be involved after. I asked them to join us for a broader movement of action-aligned work after the protest because at SURJ we know that is how we can make true and lasting change.” – Meredith, Iowa City SURJ member
While MAGA and ICE continue their attacks, the mass resistance is powerful and growing by the day. This past weekend, the No Kings Day protests topped the last ones, with over seven million people in the streets. Getting millions of white people in the streets is powerful, but we need those people to keep showing up in campaigns to build power long-term so we can defeat MAGA.
That’s why SURJ members like Meredith canvassed the No Kings Day crowds and recruited hundreds of people into SURJ where they can join an organizing home and take action long-term. MAGA depends on white people to join them, or to sit on the sidelines, and SURJ has a clear role in cutting that support out from under them.
Can you donate today to power our work?
Trump and MAGA are worried about losing control of Congress in 2026 and are feeling the pressure as more and more people are joining together to say no to their authoritarian regime. Let’s make sure millions of white people are joining this broad coalition of people across the country to block MAGA and fight for the multiracial working class. The more white people we can activate for our side, the more powerful we are.
In solidarity,
SURJ
P.S. Inspired and want to hear more? Join us for our SURJ mass call on Sunday, October 26th for a conversation about what white people can do right now to keep up the energy from No Kings Day and take the next step to block MAGA and the billionaire class.

David here with an update from on the ground in Houston.
Yesterday, I was out knocking on doors with State Senator Molly Cook and our endorsed congressional candidate Christian Menefee — and at the very first door we hit, something extraordinary happened that I haven’t stopped thinking about.
A woman opened the door and immediately lit up. “Oh my God, are you Senator Molly Cook?” she asked. Molly smiled and said, “Yes, I am.” Molly was an LWD endorsed candidate last cycle. We invested $310,000 in her race, I knocked doors for her in the Texas heat along with 50 volunteers, and I was right there with her on Election Night, when she won by just 62 votes. This interaction was a really powerful, full circle kind of moment that reminded me why we’re doing this game-changing work and just how much of a positive impact our candidates are having on their communities.
That same woman recognized me too. She came over, hugged me, and told me she couldn’t wait to vote for Christian. And this was the FIRST door we knocked! If you’ve ever canvassed before, you know that there’s nothing better than a great first door to keep your energy high and make you forget about your sore feet!

Christian and Molly are leaders we deserve. And thanks to generous grassroots support from people just like you, voters in Houston know who they are, and even better, are excited to vote for them!
The work we’re doing together is working. The money we’re raising and advice we are giving just helped Christian’s team substantially increase ads on TV when they didn’t think they could. And guess what? People on the doors recognize him now from those ads about suing Trump and standing up for our rights. One voter told him outright: “You look trustworthy.”
We are changing the face of power in this country. We’re not just helping these young leaders run, we’re helping them win. But we can’t afford to let up now.
We have just days until this election. Every dollar we raise helps us keep pushing, in Houston, Atlanta, and NYC, where we have opportunities to make real change.
Thank you for being a part of this.
David Hogg
P.S. Before we knocked doors, Christian’s son came out to the canvass launch and played football with us. He even introduced himself like his dad: “I’m Christian Menefee and I’m running for Congress.” It was adorable. And honestly, his son was such a good reminder for me of why the future is worth fighting for. If you support our mission, will you start a monthly contribution of $25 now?

I’m Audrey Ryan, and I’m the Development Director at Leaders We Deserve.
My job is to make sure we have the resources to elect our incredible endorsed candidates and build up a new generation of young, progressive leaders.
The work we do here is so important. We’re upending the status quo and equipping our candidates with the tools they need to overcome the barriers that have shut them out from public service for far too long.
This weekend, David is on the campaign trail to get the vote out for our candidates ahead of Tuesday’s critical election. Which means 🙂
David will be hitting the pavement from dawn till dusk, knocking doors, leading canvass launches, and amplifying our candidates message during these crucial final days. He’ll be in Houston helping elect Harris County Attorney, Christian Menefee, to Congress. Then he heads straight to Metro Atlanta to campaign for Akbar Ali, who if elected will be the youngest member of the Georgia House of Representatives (a title currently held by 2024 LWD endorsee, Bryce Berry!). And then he’s off to NYC with Zohran Mamdani, whose campaign and platform has energized voters and brought back hope not only to New Yorkers but to the entire country. We’re going all in to win these key races on Election Day, but we need your help to make sure our candidates can win big — this Tuesday, in 2026, and for years to come.
Tomorrow night is our end-of-month fundraising deadline, and every dollar helps us reach voters and push our candidates across the finish line. But we’re coming up short on our goal and we need your help: Can you chip in $25 right now to help us hit our goal before tomorrow night?
With your support, our candidates can become the next generation of leaders — the same leaders who could be running for Senate or the White House in a few years. But that’s only going to happen with sustained grassroots support.
We don’t take a dime of corporate PAC money, and neither do our candidates. I’ll be honest, my job would be a whole lot easier if we did. But we aren’t about taking the easy route or doing things like they’ve been done before, and neither are our candidates. Leaders We Deserve is often their largest source of support, helping them break through the barriers the establishment has built to prevent young, working-class people from gaining power and delivering real change for their communities.
This is our chance to elect leaders who will fight for us, not for their corporate donors or political insiders. We don’t have to keep pretending the current system is “normal” just because it’s good for those in power. And on Tuesday, we have the chance to elect new people to power — honest, creative, steadfast, and hopeful leaders like Christian, Akbar, and Zohran.
But time is running out. We only have 24 hours to meet our end-of-month fundraising goal, help our endorsed candidates win next Tuesday, and keep our movement’s momentum pushing forward.
Thank you for your support. I’m glad to be on this team with you.
