Safety Remains First

June Regular Business Meeting Details
Thursday, June 16
6:00p.m. to 8:00p.m.
Shelter 1, Chiawana Park (end of Chiawana Park Road)

Fellow Democrats,

Our regular June meeting is still in-person. The location is now Chiawana Park.

Go down Court Street and take a left at Road 88 to get to Chiawana Park. We’ll be down at the shelter at the end of the park, near the playground.

As our COVID numbers rise here in Franklin County and across the state, it’s better to be safe than sorry. That said, state health officials are only cautioning us about indoor safety, not outdoors.

So we’re going outside for this one. My apologies for the sudden switch.

Remember, we need a minimum of seven (7) PCOs elected in the 2020 cycle or appointed since then. Acting PCOs — those who live outside their assigned precinct and are caretaking for it — cannot vote.

If you’d like to bring food for yourself or others, feel free. I’ll have enough refreshments to carry us through what I hope will be a fulfilling, yet compact, return to in-person meetings.

The agenda remains the same. I’ll still bring paper copies and take good notes for anyone who can’t make it.

In service to democracy and the Union.
