Disclose Act, Ranked Choice Voting & National Voter Registration Day!

TODAY is National Voter Registration Day!

We’re excited to be part of a national effort to strengthen our democracy by registering voters on this year’s National Voter Registration Day, which marks the 10th anniversary of this nationwide celebration of democracy.

Today, we invite you to register to vote or update your voter registration:
In Washington State @ vote.wa.gov
All other locations @ vote.gov

We also encourage you to spread the word and reach out to your network to make sure everyone you know is registered and their registration is up to date.

Also share on social media using these hashtags:
#NationalVoterRegistrationDay and #VoteReady

Democracy works best when we are ALL involved and participating!

We need to shine light on Dark Money in Elections!

Big news: the DISCLOSE Act has just been reintroduced in the senate and a vote is likely to be brought up for a vote in the coming days!

This DISCLOSE Act would rein in corporate spending, stop Super PACs from subverting the will of the American electorate, and close secret money loopholes.

It’s crucial that our Senators are hearing from their constituents on the importance of this bill before the Senate vote later this week.

Please take a few minutes to call your Senators and tell them to do their part to stop secret money and do all they can to pass this important bill.

Support Ranked-Choice Voting in Washington State!

Ranked-Choice Voting will be on the November 2022 ballot in three Washington state locations.

Many people believe politics are broken, voters feel disempowered, communities don’t feel represented, and constructive disagreement has gone out the window. Ranked-choice voting (RCV) is a simple improvement to the way we vote, offering many benefits to our current system of voting. With RCV, voters get to rank candidates in the order of their preference: 1st choice, 2nd choice, 3rd choice, and so on. If your favorite can’t win, your vote counts for your next choice.
