Time for Action! ¡Es el momento de actuar!
Al entrar en este fin de semana del Día Memorial, los acontecimientos de los antepasados ponen de manifiesto lo que hizo grande a este país. Los fundadores crearon un nuevo país basado en los derechos inalienables a la vida, la libertad y la búsqueda de la felicidad. Fuimos a la guerra y se derramó sangre para hacerlo realidad. La Constitución dejó claro que el derecho a la privacidad en nuestros hogares y cuerpos merecía protección, limitó la intervención del gobierno y garantizó que el estado de derecho y no las creencias religiosas impedirían otras interpretaciones. Hemos derramado sangre en otras costas para proteger estos derechos y dar a otros la oportunidad de seguirlos. Entonces, ¿por qué hay unos pocos que nos niegan tan descaradamente estos derechos y protecciones? A menudo tratamos mejor a los desconocidos que a los que queremos. Debemos detener esta locura y poner a todos los estadounidenses en primer lugar, como declararon nuestros fundadores y sabemos que es correcto.
As we go into this Memorial day weekend, events of late bring into vivid view what made this country great. The founders created a new country based on the inalienable rights to Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness. We went to war and blood was spilled to make it true! The Constitution made clear that the right to privacy in our homes and bodies deserved protection. It limits government intervention and ensures that the rule of law and not religious beliefs would prevent other interpretations. We have spilled blood on other shores to protect these rights and to give others the chance to follow. So why do a few so boldly deny us these rights and protections at home? We must stop this insanity and put American’s first like our founders declared and we know to be right.
#UnionStrong! COPE Convention last weekend was a powerhouse of people and determination. Growing up unions gave my family a good life and my parents a good retirement. We need to lift ourselves up from minimum wage jobs and support family wage jobs. * #UniónFuerte! La Convención de COPE el fin de semana pasado fue un centro neurálgico de personas y determinación. Crecer uniones le dio a mi familia una buena vida ya mis padres una buena jubilación. Necesitamos levantarnos de los trabajos de salario mínimo y apoyar los trabajos de salario familiar.
El Aviario de la Nación Yakama alberga águilas heridas y otras aves rapaces. Esto proporcionará plumas para que la tribu mantenga su cultura próspera.

The Yakama Nation Aviary homes injured eagles and other birds of prey. This will provide feathers for the tribe to keep their culture thriving.
