It’s a weekly moment of silence to honor those suffering under this administration and the destruction it’s causing.

Greetings fellow Democrats!
This will be our last picnic of the season! We’ll have a potluck picnic at the ranch (4501 W Lattin Ct, West Richland) at 6pm on October 10. There will be a firepit and patio heaters if it gets chilly. Many of the candidates that we’re supporting will bring their campaign materials for us to prep and take home for distribution. Come gather with like-minded folks and share some fellowship, food and beverages.

Born in the streets, carried by millions in chants and on posters, it echoes from city blocks to rural town squares, uniting people across this country to fight dictatorship together.
The president thinks his rule is absolute. But in America, we don’t have kings, and we won’t back down against chaos, corruption, and cruelty. Grow our movement and join us.
A core principle behind all No Kings events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values and to act lawfully at these events. Weapons of any kind, including those legally permitted, should not be brought to events.

MAGA’s escalating attacks on immigrants are brutal– tearing apart families and forcing people to live in fear. As they have for decades, immigrant communities are rising up and showing us all what bravery in the face of repression looks like.
We’re proud that SURJ and our partners at Solidarity Organizing Initiative (SOI) have trained over 4,000 SURJ members in 44 states and 50 local groups to show up alongside them and fight back. Political violence and repression are designed to keep us quiet, but if white people stay silent, this will just become the new reality.
Now is your chance to join us. Will you join the 2-part Solidarity Mobilizations training program on Wednesday, October 15th & October 22nd alongside thousands of other SURJ members ready to stand with our immigrant neighbors?
Solidarity Mobilizations is a 2-part training program for all of us who want to stand up in solidarity, especially those of us who are white who are ready to organize, respond, and show up with commitment and care. We’ll break down the political moment we’re in, the authoritarian playbook driving these attacks, and the role those of us who are white and/or citizens can play in pushing back effectively and strategically.
