February marks the beginning of Black History Month

This month celebrates the achievements of Black Americans in culture, art, science, history, leadership, and of course, politics. This month is also critical in uplifting the legacy of Black History – and committing to its future.

We know we offer the expertise in training to help you win, lead your local party, or work in politics. But this month we want to turn the spotlight to some of our amazing partners who specialize in Black voter turnout, fundraising, electoral work, and more.

Check out some of our partners below to learn more, then browse this week’s lineup of live trainings!

The Collective PAC strives to build Black political power by educating and advocating for Black candidates and voters. Their efforts empower Black civic leaders across the country through voter engagement, turnout efforts around Election Day, and endorsing Black candidates. Their Justice For All Initiative also strives to close the gap in elected criminal justice positions such as prosecutor, judge, and attorneys general races.

[LATER THIS MONTH ] Empowering Your Job Search
Thursday, February 16 at 1pm ET

This month’s NDTC Expert Q&A is also a part of our Black History Month lineup. In Empowering Your Job Search, we’ll bring together three Black Democratic strategists with experience in the job-search arena.

For Black job seekers in Democratic spaces, it can be especially challenging to make your way into networks and organizations because of institutional racism in politics.

And we want to empower you to combat those biases.

Join three expert panelists moderated by NDTC Associate Director of Staff Academy, Jemila Mitchell, as they discuss challenges, opportunities, and strategies you can use when pursuing that next big role.
