Some of our generous members are likely to purchase pitchers of beer to share. If you want the salad bar or soft drinks, you are on your own for those items. Kadlec nurses having been bargaining with Providence Kadlec since September 29th and have not been able to reach a fair contract, despite bringing in a federal mediator. Kadlec nurses are fighting for safe staffing, real break and lunch relief, workplace safety, and fair wages. A room at the Richland library has been rented out to serve as a check-in area as well as providing refreshments and a place for children to be cared for if needed. Everyone is welcome!
