Greetings Democrats,
It’s almost Election Day and we’re in the final push to get every last ballot returned!
We will be phonebanking at the office non-stop tomorrow and Tuesday from 10am-8pm. Even 30 minutes of your time will make a difference! We will have complimentary food, coffee, and Democratic swag, so please stop by and make YOUR impact during this important election cycle!
With political signs everywhere, and robo-calls, texts, and emails coming in non-stop, it’s hard to imagine that anyone DOESN’T know there’s an election coming up. However, the current ballot return rate for Yakima County is 26.35%, so there are still a LOT of voters out there who may just need a reminder to get their ballot in by 8pm Tuesday.
We can also help people with information about what to do if they lost their ballot, or didn’t receive one. It’s not too late to vote! Some close races may come down to a few hundred votes, so every voter we can turn out is very important.
On Election Day, we’ll be at the Office until 8:00 phonebanking, then we will join either Doug White and/or Angie Girard at their watch parties:

We hope to see you at these celebrations! Of course, we’ll also be watching the results of many other races around the state and nation. These are crucial times for our democracy. What happens in the next few days as results are finalized will determine the path we take into the future. It’s time to come together, lift each other up, and renew our resolve to keep working for liberty and justice for all!
