At a time when Republicans in DC are dragging us backward, Washington Democrats are charting a bold path forward and we’re winning.
Last month, WA Dems hosted large-scale GOTV events for our Democratic candidates in LDs 5 and 26 ahead of the August Primary. As a result, Democrats Deb Krishnadasan of LD-26 and Victoria Hunt of LD-5 won their primaries with clear majorities!
We anticipate very close races for both in November, but we’re proud to have strong candidates in strong positions.
This summer, Democrats came together and showed the power of grassroots organizing in the fight against Trump and Congressional Republicans.
We’re doing what Republicans in Congress refuse to do—govern with courage, organize with compassion, and prepare a democratic vision for the future.
But we don’t take these wins for granted. With MAGA extremists organizing right here in Washington and national Republicans targeting us and our majority in 2026, we can’t yield an inch of ground.
Let’s show the rest of the country what it looks like when Democrats lead, and more importantly, when the people lead with us.
