I don’t know about you, but I woke up ready to run through brick walls for our great Democrats in Washington state. Voters in Washington and across the country sent a strong message last night: we’re ready for Democrats to be in charge at every level who are ready to put democracy and everyday people first.
Here in Washington, early ballot results suggest something we’ve long known: Washington voters want democratic leadership.
For six straight election cycles, voters have chosen to increase or maintain our Democratic majorities—and this year is no different. We’re humbled by their trust and proud to keep working to protect Washington from the chaos emanating from the other Washington.
Voters across the state rejected the WAGOP’s embrace of national Republicans’ extremist agenda that guts healthcare and takes food off our families’ tables. They know Democrats are the ones fighting to lower costs on housing, healthcare, and groceries—things that actually make a difference in the lives of working people.
