Friend, I’m about to ask you to split a donation between my campaign for Congress in the 6th District and the WA Democrats statewide organizing program. But first, I want to show you this mailer that a right-wing group sent to thousands of my neighbors in my last election

As the first out queer woman elected to the WA State Senate, I don’t think the BOLD, RED, UNDERLINE on “STRAIGHT” was accidental!
It’s part of a pattern I’ve experienced, as have many queer and LGBTQ+ people running for office: The same people who say our identities “don’t matter” turn around and use our identities to attack us, other us, and stoke fear against us.
And from Washington state to the presidential debate stage, MAGA Republicans continue to spread fear and lies about LGBTQ+ kids and their families.
I’m running to fight for working people in Washington’s 6th District. I’m running to bring the voices of my neighbors to the halls of power.
And I am absolutely running to be the first queer Latina in Congress, where I will work to create a world where all of us are treated with dignity and respect — no matter how we live, what we look like, or who we love.
If you’re ready to make history and send a powerful message that ALL of us deserve a voice in Congress, please split a donation between my campaign and the WA Democrats before midnight:

Thank you so much 💙

— Emily Randall
