Ballots for Washington’s 2025 Primary Election are out! That means our first opportunity to oppose the current administration and protect our Democratic values at the ballot box has arrived. Help us organize and get the vote out by donating to Washington Democrats today. For context:
In Seattle, voters will weigh in on critical races for mayor, city attorney, three seats on the City Council, and three seats on the School Board.
Across King County, six major positions are on the ballot, including the County Executive and five County Council seats.
At the state level, there are nine Legislative seats, including highly-contested districts LD-5 and LD-26.
There are contested municipal races this year in Vancouver, Battle Ground, Camas, and Woodland.
And local measures like Seattle’s Democracy Voucher program and King County’s parks levy will directly impact our communities for years to come.

Because this isn’t just any election.
It’s our first test since November 2024, and Big Money is already flooding in to try to tip the scales.
Just this month, a new report revealed that business-backed political committees have spent over $330,000 in attack ads, mailers, and digital campaigns targeting two Democratic women in our State Senate: Sen. Victoria Hunt (LD 5) and Sen. Deborah Krishnadasan (LD 26).
These groups are hoping Republicans can unseat both of these Democratic champions this fall. We cannot let that happen.
Senator Hunt is working hard to carry on the legacy of the late Sen. Bill Ramos, while facing off against failed Republican State Rep. Chad Magendanz. And Senator Krishnadasan is preparing to take on MAGA-aligned GOP Rep. Michelle Caldier in one of the state’s most competitive districts.
Our fight, however, extends beyond these districts. In communities across Washington, we’re also fighting to elect bold, visionary Democrats to local office, and standing strong against far-right extremism from groups like Moms for Liberty. Now is the time to show up.
