The moment Washington passed the Millionaires Tax to ensure the wealthiest households finally paid their fair share, billionaires launched their campaign to tear it down.
Just last week, MAGA-millionaire Brian Heywood doubled down on his efforts and submitted over 500,000 signatures to put Initiative 645 on the ballot and kill the tax.
If they succeed, the ultra-wealthy get another tax break while working families pay the price.
And that’s not all.
Former Attorney General Rob McKenna and his allies are already working to reshape the Washington Supreme Court, backing conservative judges who will protect billionaire interests and threaten decades of progress on workers’ rights, reproductive freedom, voting rights, and more.
This isn’t just about one ballot measure or one election.
It’s about whether Washington continues to lead the nation—or whether billionaire megadonors and MAGA extremists get to buy our future.
With the primary less than a month away and the November election fast approaching, we have no time to waste. We need to organize in every community, talk to voters about what’s at stake, and turn out the coalition that has protected Washington from the worst of the MAGA agenda.
