Washington voters sent a clear message this primary: MAGA politics is losing ground, and Democrats are in a strong position heading into November. Outside of the toughest district in our state, every Democratic Congressional incumbent is leading the second-place candidate by 10% or greater.
Democrats won more than 50% of the vote in 35 of Washington’s 49 legislative districts, 71% of the state.
And across the state, Democratic candidates are leading in race after race, including in critical battlegrounds where GOP-aligned special interests have already spent hundreds of thousands of dollars trying to protect their seats.
But we can’t take these results for granted. More losses for the right means they’re going to throw everything they can into the general. Money, attack ads, misleading information…
