This past week, Women’s March was invited to go to Charlottesville, North Carolina to attend SEIU’s Women in Power convention. We arrived just as Hurricane Helene hit the state.
We saw the devastation with our own eyes, and have watched the continued devastation as the effects of the storm continue to unfold.
Second, the importance of FEMA and other relief organizations are critical in an era of increased climate crisis. We must not let the climate denialism of Trump’s Project 2025 increase the suffering of disasters such as these in the future.
This is where we come in, Kendall.
We need action—now. Can you give $15 today to support those impacted by Hurricane Helene?
