Women’s March – October 27, 2024

Posted on October 27, 2024

It’s Kelsey Jackson, again. I’m the Chief Financial and Administrative Officer here at Women’s March. I wanted to update you since my last message.

We’re 6 days out from the Women’s March to the White House, in DC, and across the country, and we’re still $18,000 away from our fundraising goals for a successful weekend of action.

From security to travel expenses to production and signs, the costs add up. That’s why I’m reaching out to you again. Will you please consider chipping in $10 to help us close the gap?

In community,

Kelsey

Forwarded Message:

Kendall,

You’d be surprised by how many logistics go into planning a march!

We’re hard at work ensuring that the November 2 march in Washington is safe, impactful, and organized for the thousands of Women’s Marchers showing up to defend our freedoms and protect democracy. To make this a success, we need your help.

There are vendors to pay, routes to triple-check, and counter-protests to prepare for.😅 Not gonna lie, some of this keeps us up at night.

But here’s how you can help: Will you chip in $12 or $15 right now to help us nail down these details?

Your donation will help us pay for security, our lawyers, and other critical logistics as we finalize the details of our big march.

Vote for Derek Sarley for State Representative!Derek Sarley is the only candidate left on the ballot that is committed to serving; Skyler Rude is running to be a placeholder and has already said he will NOT serve. The Republicans can choose any party loyalist, someone that has not once appealed to voters. ...
