Women’s March – November 5, 2024

Posted on November 5, 2024

Election Day is today. We will hear a lot of hot takes and punditry. We may see people on “our side” critiquing us about the ways we could have done more or been different.

We have to reject all of that and hold steady.

We will soon know the path ahead—whatever that may hold. We know the stakes, and we know the toll this season has taken on all of us.

On Wednesday 8:00 pm ET, Women’s March is hosting a healing justice space: a community gathering to ground ourselves in support and resilience as results unfold.

This will be a space to process, breathe, and hear from movement leaders and healers who can help hold us through whatever comes. No matter the outcome, we have each other, and together, we are ready. Speakers include:

  • Oriaku Njoku, National Network of Abortion Funds
  • Adaku Utah, Building Movement Project
  • Sokari Brown, Kindred Southern Healing Justice Collective
  • Reverend Iya Estee Nena Dillard, SisterSong
