June 24th is the second anniversary of the disastrous Dobbs decision. When the Supreme Court overturned Row v. Wade, it opened the doors for a dystopian future for women across the United States.
- 🚫14 states have implemented total or near-total abortion bans – including a civil rights-era ban in the state of Arizona.
- 💊The far-right has challenged and restricted decades-old access to FDA-approved abortion pills – and in Louisiana, possession of the pill can now result in jail time.
- 🚑EMTALA, which mandates emergency medical treatment, has faced attacks – complicating its enforcement concerning life-saving abortions.
And this is just the beginning. The far-right won’t stop until they strip away our freedoms. But feminists trump fascists every time.
We will send an unmistakable message to anti-abortion extremists that our movement isn’t backing down.
