Yesterday, the Supreme Court just handed Alabama Republicans permission to erase a Black congressional district one week before the primary.
Black voters spent years in court winning representation that reflected their communities. Two weeks ago, the Court gutted the Voting Rights Act in Louisiana. Alabama Republicans wasted no time cashing in.
Black women deliver elections in this country, and the sold out SCOTUS members stripping democracy for parts know that. Attacks on Black voting power are attacks on the women who organize, register, and turn out voters in communities across our country.
Trump’s regime cannot beat those women in a fair election, so instead, they are rigging the rules. They are stealing seats they can’t win.
