Hundreds of thousands of you helped stop the SAVE Act.
But “stalled” doesn’t mean “dead.”
Here’s what you need to know, and why we can’t let up:
- Trump is trying to force the SAVE Act into must-pass spending bills to give it another path through Congress.
- He’s using it as a political wedge, spreading lies about our elections to undermine confidence in our democracy and justify new voter suppression.
- He’s escalating the pressure campaign, demanding Republicans fall in line and treating the SAVE Act as a loyalty test.
The SAVE Act will make it harder for millions of eligible Americans, including women who changed their names after marriage, survivors escaping abuse, military families, students, and transgender voters, to register and vote.
Tell Congress: don’t fold. Reject the SAVE Act in any form. Protect our freedom to vote.
