WA Immigrant Solidarity Network – December 23, 2025

Posted on December 23, 2025

[Español Abajo]

We want to thank you for attending our General Meeting last month! Our monthly General Meeting allows community members from across Washington to share their experiences, discuss strategies for building community power in their local area and around the state, and give us an opportunity to involve directly affected people in our strategic decision-making processes.

Just in case you missed it or if you had any questions, here is a brief summary of the most important points we discussed and ways you can get involved:

Deportation Defense Hotline

Save, share and use the WAISN Deportation Defense Hotline number—1-844-724-3737.

Call or text the Hotline 6am to 6pm, Monday to Friday to learn more about the rights that protect all Washingtonians, get support for detained persons, report immigration activity, request accompaniment to vulnerable locations, and to get connected with over 1400 immigration and community resources. Our Hotline organizers speak English and Spanish, and we offer interpretation in nearly 300 languages.

The Hotline will have limited coverage from December 22, 2025 to January 2, 2026. Community members can text 1-844-724-3737 and we will respond as quickly as possible for reports of immigration activity and detention support. The Hotline will be closed on December 24, December 25, and January 1.

The Hotline in 2025
In 2025, the Hotline supported 2,287 community members in 18 languages, connecting with 29 of Washington’s 39 counties.

The WAISN Hotline and Rapid Response teams received reports of detentions or immigration enforcement activity from 23 counties in Washington, and we provided detention support for families impacted by nearly 600 individual detentions.

These numbers represent WAISN’s connection to community, building resilience, and mutual aid in the face of dehumanizing enforcement tactics.

Rapid Response in 2025

Our team provided Know Your Rights trainings for over 1,300 impacted community members, and trained more than 3,700 people in Rapid Response this year.

We’re proud that our Rapid Response network now includes more than 20 teams in key locations for immigration enforcement — and want to thank our 1,100+ volunteers across Washington state, who remain ready to activate and stand in solidarity with families impacted by the deportation machine.

Would you like to join a local Rapid Response team? Sign up for one of our upcoming training sessions:

Policy and Advocacy

Register for our January Community Advocacy Meeting so you can be prepared to support our legislative priorities this session. If you are joining us for Immigrant and Refugee Advocacy Day (IRAD), this will be an important session so you can be prepared for your legislative meetings, but we want anyone who would like to support our platform in 2026 to attend even if you can’t make it to IRAD!
