The Washington Immigrant Solidarity Network (WAISN) started in 2016 as a group of people and organizations from across the state who wanted to work together to protect and advance the rights of immigrants and refugees.
Since then, all across Washington—from Spokane to Seattle, from Wenatchee to Aberdeen and everywhere in between—immigrants, refugees, and allies have come together to learn, organize, and build a future rooted in care and solidarity.
This movement belongs to each and every one of us. And after years of listening, learning, and building with the community, we’re launching a new way for people like you to stay informed, lead and organize along with us: WAISN Individual Membership!
This new membership model will give immigrants and refugees a stronger voice in making the decisions that guide our work.
It’s a bold vision brought to life by queer and trans immigrant organizers, multiethnic and multilingual communities, and intergenerational grassroots leaders who’ve demanded a more powerful way to move toward a common goal: dignity, respect, and autonomy for all, regardless of immigration status.
Here’s what you have as a member:
- Learn: Get priority access to trainings, including Rapid Response, Know Your Rights, Accompaniment, Organizing, and more.
- Stay Connected: Receive reliable updates and calls to action to keep your community informed and ready to act.
- Organize Together: Build systems of care, make decisions, and take peaceful action in support of immigrant rights.
- Gather: Join online and in-person convenings that build relationships, deepen trust, and shape strategies for immigrant justice.
- Advocate at the State Capitol: Raise your voice with us in Olympia to help drive policy change for immigration justice.
This is a movement where care becomes action and leadership grows through connection. WAISN’s Individual Membership is one more way we can stay connected and accountable to organizing toward a future where we can all thrive. Our liberation isn’t a dream — it’s a plan, and it includes all of us.

La Red de Solidaridad de Inmigrantes de Washington (WAISN, por sus siglas en inglés) surgió en 2016 como un grupo de personas y organizaciones de todo el estado que querían trabajar juntas para avanzar y proteger los derechos de inmigrantes y refugiados.
Desde entonces, en todo Washington, desde Spokane hasta Seattle, de Wenatchee a Aberdeen y en todos los lugares en medio, inmigrantes, refugiados y aliados se han unido para aprender, organizarse y construir un futuro basado en el cuidado y la solidaridad.
Este movimiento nos pertenece a todos. Y después de años de escuchar, aprender y construir con la comunidad, ¡lanzamos una nueva forma para que personas como tú se mantengan informadas, lideren y se organicen junto a nosotros: la membresía individual de WAISN!
Este nuevo modelo de membresía dará a las personas inmigrantes y refugiadas mayor voz y poder en la toma de decisiones que guían nuestro trabajo.
Es una visión audaz hecha realidad por organizadores inmigrantes queer y trans, comunidades multiétnicas y multilingües, y líderes comunitarios intergeneracionales que han exigido una forma más poderosa de avanzar hacia un objetivo común: dignidad, respeto y autonomía para todas las personas, independientemente del estatus migratorio.
Esto es lo que obtienes al ser miembro:
- Aprender: obtén acceso prioritario a capacitaciones sobre temas como respuesta rápida, conoce tus derechos, acompañamiento, organización y más.
- Mantenernos conectados/as: recibe actualizaciones y llamados a la acción confiables para mantener a tu comunidad informada y lista para actuar.
- Organizarnos: fortalece tu poder, toma decisiones y realiza acciones pacíficas en apoyo de los derechos de las personas inmigrantes.
- Reunirnos: Participa en encuentros virtuales y presenciales que fomentan relaciones, profundizan la confianza y definen estrategias para la justicia para los migrantes.
- Aboga en el capitolio del estado: Alza tu voz con nosotras en Olympia para impulsar el cambio de políticas.
Este es un movimiento donde el cuidado se convierte en acción y el liderazgo crece a través de la conexión. La membresía individual de WAISN es una forma más de mantenernos conectados y comprometidos con la organización para un futuro donde todos podamos prosperar. Porque nuestra liberación no es un sueño, es un plan y nos incluye a todas las personas.
