Our Deportation Defense Hotline and Rapid Response Teams receive reports related to immigration enforcement activity across Washington, including sightings of immigration operations, alerts about detentions, and calls for post-detention support.
To help you stay informed, we’re sharing some information on the confirmed reports we received from July 15–31. These numbers are not just statistics. They reflect stories of family separation, surveillance, and intimidation tactics that sometimes lead to deadly consequences.
July 15–31 Immigration Activity in Washington
During this two week period, 38 reports of immigration enforcement activity came through the WAISN Deportation Defense Hotline and Rapid Response Teams.
We were able to confirm the detention of 32 people, with the heaviest confirmed activity in King, Snohomish, and Whatcom counties and particular hotspots in Seattle, Lynden, and Everett.
Immigration Enforcement News and Trends
During this period, workplaces in and around commercial areas emerged as recurring locations for detentions. Reports described people being detained while arriving at work, leaving job sites, taking lunch breaks, or using business parking lots. These reports point to an ongoing pattern of enforcement during ordinary daily activities, particularly around work, travel, shopping, and public parking areas.

La Línea de Defensa contra la Deportación y los Equipos de Respuesta Rápida de WAISN reciben reportes sobre las actividades de control migratorio en todo el estado de Washington, incluyendo avisos de actividades de control migratorio, alertas urgentes sobre detenciones y llamadas para solicitar apoyo tras una detención.

Actividad de control migratorio del 15-31 de julio en Washington
Durante estas dos semanas, se recibieron 43 reportes sobre actividades de control migratorio a través de la Línea de Defensa contra la Deportación y de los Equipos de Respuesta Rápida de WAISN.
Pudimos confirmar la detención de 46 personas y la mayor actividad se registró en los condados de King, Skagit y Whatcom, con puntos críticos en Seattle, Lynden, Mount Vernon y Burlington.
Noticias y tendencias de control migratorio
Durante este periodo, los lugares de trabajo, y las zonas comerciales aparecieron varias veces en los reportes de detenciones. Los reportes mencionan que las personas son detenidas al llegar al trabajo, al salir de sus lugares de trabajo, durante sus descansos para comer o mientras estaban en los estacionamientos públicos.
