Our Deportation Defense Hotline received a direct report and documentation that ICE arrived at a roofing company in Bellingham yesterday around 7:30 a.m. in plain clothes, military-style vests, and masks. They detained 37 people in two buses and took them to the Ferndale Detention facility, some having already been transferred to the Northwest Processing Center. Our Rapid Response team in Whatcom County and Community to Community confirmed this information.
We will provide more information as we receive it, but for now proceed with caution and remember that you have rights.

Nuestra Línea de Defensa contra la Deportación recibió un reporte y documentación de que agentes de inmigración llegaron ayer aproximadamente a las 7:30 a.m. a una compañía de construcción de techos, sin uniforme, con chalecos tipo militar y mascarillas. Detuvieron a 37 personas en dos autobuses y las llevaron al centro de detención de Ferndale, algunas ya fueron trasladadas al Centro de Procesamiento del Noroeste. Nuestro equipo de Respuesta Rápida del condado de Whatcom y la organización Comunidad a Comunidad confirmó la información.
