In the final stretch of this midterm election– with Trump threatening to undermine democratic process and Musk throwing in desperate millions– alongside all our partners, we know that the best election protection is delivering decisive wins across the country. The higher the margins, the harder it is to contest them.
No matter the results, join SURJ on Wednesday, November 4 at 7pm ET, the day after Election Day, for a mass call: “White People’s Work After the Election.” Together, we’ll make meaning of what has happened, celebrate our wins, assess the current political situation, and give you your marching orders for whatever is next.
We’ll break down the election results and what they mean for our movement, and we’ll talk about white people’s work in the days ahead– whether it’s showing up big and bold to protect election results or getting in formation after a Democrat sweep to keep up the momentum and push for our racial justice agenda.
No matter what happens, come and get grounded with us.
And in the meantime… join a phone bank!
In solidarity,
SURJ
