Happy Autumn Season! This is a busy time for many families as it is the start of the new school year, a busy time for home gardeners and the farming community to bring in the last of the harvest.
I’m elated to share that it has been a little over six months since my last Chemotherapy treatment, and I am doing very well! As I start to feel better expect to see more from me–as we only have 29 days left to support amazing local candidates, defeat all the statewide initiatives, and support Seattle Transportation Levy, and send Kamala Harris to the White House!

I am also proud to join my Latino and LGBTQ communities in endorsing Kamala Harris and Tim Walz. Our democracy, decency, and freedom are at stake this November. I also wanted to recognize October as Filipino American Heritage Month, October 2nd as the start of the Jewish High Holy Days, and that September 30th marked the National Day for Truth in Reconciliation.
I could not have made it through my Chemotherapy treatments and be ready to stand up for what’s right without such strong community support, Thank you!
