Our communities deserve investments, not cuts.
Immigrants and refugees work hard to build a better future for our families and our labor has helped Washington prosper. But now, state leaders are considering cuts to the programs our communities rely on. It’s more important than ever for our state to invest in needed services like healthcare, community defense programs, legal assistance, and more.
Tomorrow, our elected leaders will be having crucial hearings about the 2025-2027 state budget, and we need to be there to ensure they choose solutions that don’t harm working families. If you’re able, join us tomorrow at the Washington State Capitol in Olympia to demand lawmakers enact progressive revenue efforts so the wealthy pay their fair share and our communities receive the services they need.

Nuestras comunidades merecen inversiones, no recortes de presupuesto.
Los inmigrantes y refugiados trabajamos arduamente para construir un futuro mejor para nuestras familias y nuestro trabajo ha ayudado a Washington como estado a prosperar. Pero ahora, los líderes estatales están considerando recortes a los programas de los que dependen nuestras comunidades. Es más importante que nunca que nuestro estado invierta en servicios necesarios como atención médica, programas de defensa comunitaria, asistencia legal y más.
Mañana, nuestros líderes electos tendrán audiencias cruciales sobre el presupuesto estatal 2025-2027, y debemos estar allí para asegurarnos de que elijan soluciones que no perjudiquen a las familias trabajadoras. Si puede, únase a nosotros mañana en el Capitolio del Estado de Washington en Olympia para exigir a los legisladores que promulguen esfuerzos de ingresos progresivos para que los ricos paguen su parte justa y nuestras comunidades reciban los servicios que necesitan.
