Earlier this month, I visited King County to see climate progress in action. Local leaders came together to install a solar power array to help provide clean power in an area that’s been severely harmed by air pollution.

That’s just one of 71 projects this year. These projects are only possible thanks to our landmark climate law that a right-wing multimillionaire is trying to completely overturn.

I’m calling on you to chip in and help defend Washington state. I-2117 would slam the brakes on impactful climate projects like this one – not to mention allow more pollution and derail our economy. We can’t afford it.

This is climate action at its best. We’re putting people to work on projects in communities most harmed by climate change. Ultimately, these projects will provide cleaner air to all our children.

I-2117 would end all that. It would take millions away from projects that communities want. Better roads, more efficient heating and cooling systems to lower energy bills, better air filters in schools – all gone.

Defeating I-2117 is the most important climate victory we can achieve this year. Chip in to help us get it done.
