That’s right: Right now, Republican Party officials are going to court to try and remove fiscal impact information about their initiatives from the ballot.
As cartoonist David Horsey puts it: “Apparently, they would prefer voters to be in the dark about the true cost of their proposal to kill the state carbon market.”
The right-wing donors funding I-2117 know they can’t win if voters get all the information. It’s up to us to make sure everyone understands that I-2117 would allow more pollution and cut funding for vital community programs.
