No Hate in Washington State – August 28, 2026

We have just three days left before our end-of-month deadline.

Here’s why this fight matters: Ballot Initiatives 638 and 001 are being bankrolled by hedge fund boss and MAGA mega donor Brian Heywood, who has been on a personal crusade to impose his own conservative ideology on our state.

638 and 001 are some of the most well-funded anti-LGBTQ initiatives in the country. They would have consequences that ALL our students would suffer from.

I-638 would force ALL girls who want to participate in school sports to undergo invasive physical exams to prove their sex, while boys would be exempt from the exact same policy.

I-001 would strip protections that students facing abuse, bullying, or harassment count on for support and could force schools to out LGBTQ+ students to unsupportive families.

The stakes for our children are very real, and the consequences would be painful for so many.

That’s why it’s vital we get the truth in front of Washingtonians today and every day until November 3rd.
