Re: Nick Brown for AG: Campaign Update
Date: July 2024
As reported by the Seattle Times yesterday, Nick’s Democratic opponent is facing criticism for misrepresenting her work history – repeatedly stating she’s currently employed by the King County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office (KCPAO). However, as KOMO News and The Seattle Times both make clear in their coverage, the KCPAO told Sen. Dhingra weeks ago that she has not been employed there for almost three years, nor is she on a leave of absence. Despite their direct request that she correct the record, the only change she has made is to now say she is on a leave of absence, even after KCPAO has clearly said she is not.
Nick continues to lead the fundraising in the race for Attorney General – having raised over $300,000 more than any other candidate and maintaining a significant cash on hand advantage in the final weeks before the Primary. Nick’s financial success also tells a story about statewide grassroots support, with 93% of contributions coming from Washington State, and donors from 36 of 39 counties (tell your friends in Garfield, Adams and Lincoln counties we need them!).
Nick’s momentum continues to grow, and new endorsements since my last update include:
● Washington State Council of Fire Fighters
● Whatcom County Sheriff Donnell Tanksley
● Vancouver Mayor Anne McEnerny-Ogle
● Quinault Indian Nation
● Asian Pacific Islander Americans for Civic Empowerment (APACE)
● American Muslim Advancement Council

● Cowlitz, Island, Skamania, Snohomish, and Spokane County Democrats
● 30th, 31st, 34th, 37th, 21st, 10th, 11th Legislative District Democrats
● Pierce County Young Dems and the Young Dems of Clark County
● Washington Democrats Veteran and Military Families Caucus
● Washington Democrats Native American Caucus
● Democrats for Diversity and Inclusion

Nick also took a quick detour to his past, joining the Talking with T-Bird podcast for Survivor fans!
