We’re so proud of Nick!

He gave two impressive debate performances back-to-back in Spokane and Seattle this week! Here are three highlights from the debate stage:

1. Nick highlighted his commitment to abortion rights, proving once again that in the face of growing national and state threats to reproductive health, he’s the only candidate that will aggressively defend women’s rights — including women traveling to Washington for care because abortion in their own state is criminalized.
2. Nick drew a sharp contrast on gun safety measures, saying that Serrano is advocating for more ammunition in our communities. Serrano supports rolling back bans on assault weapons and high-capacity magazines and revealed he does not believe the Attorney General’s office has a role to play in advancing gun safety.
3. Nick demonstrated his clear understanding of the role of the Attorney General’s office as an advocate for the people of Washington. Nick is committed to building safe and healthy communities for every Washingtonian, no matter age, race, gender, where you live, or who you love. Serrano takes a decidedly different route, going so far as to say the office should not even propose legislation.

Last night proved what we already knew — Nick is ready to serve as Washington’s next Attorney General!
