Nick Brown for Attorney General – September 12, 2024

I’m Jennifer M. Allen, CEO of Planned Parenthood Alliance Advocates. 

In less than two months, Washington voters will cast their ballots for Attorney General, a crucial office for defending Washingtonians’ access to abortion care and reproductive freedom from extremist threats.

I’m thrilled to announce our support for Nick Brown for Attorney General.

Nick will do everything in his power to protect abortion access, birth control, LGBTQ+ health care, and sex education. He is committed to upholding Washington’s tradition of providing a safe haven for people seeking abortion care, prioritizing access to medication abortion, and protecting abortion providers and patients from prosecution.

Washington has some of the strongest abortion protections in the nation — but we can’t get complacent. Right-wing, anti-abortion extremism is encroaching on Washington’s shores. Nick’s opponent, Pete Serrano, is a right-wing conservative who would jeopardize reproductive freedom and the health of Washington’s families simply to serve his own agenda.

With the threat of Project 2025 looming over Washington — which would reverse FDA approval of the abortion pill and threaten out-of-state patients traveling from states with criminal abortion bans — we must do everything we can to elect champions for reproductive freedom like Nick in November.
