As Washingtonians continue to return their ballots this weekend, I need to caution you about the threat of far-right extremism in this election.
Pete Serrano is dangerous for Washington.
In a chilling preview of what may come if he is elected, Serrano called January 6 insurrectionists “political prisoners.”
As Attorney General, I promise to always defend our democracy, no matter who threatens it.
Serrano clearly doesn’t support laws he personally doesn’t agree with, aligning himself more with the partisan interests of MAGA Republicans than Washingtonians’ human rights.
I will do everything in my power to defend Washingtonians’ personal freedoms and civil liberties, including abortion access and LGBTQ+ rights.
Serrano even went so far as to say the Attorney General’s office shouldn’t have a role in advancing gun safety and would roll back crucial protections.
If elected, I will safeguard Washington’s nation-leading gun safety measures that keep our communities safe.
It’s no exaggeration to say our beloved Washington values are at risk on November 5. I need your help to protect them.
Thank you!
