Like many of you, I’ve been devastated watching the damage from hurricanes in the Southeast.
Our world’s climate crisis knows no borders or state lines. Here in Washington, we know all too well what an extraordinary and catastrophic impact climate change can have for our environment and our homes, from wildfires to air quality.
It is imperative that we work together to find solutions for the climate crisis through research, policy, and more. I’m proud of Washington’s nation-leading environmental work — but my extreme opponent Pete Serrano threatens all of our progress.
Serrano has implied he supports Initiative 2117, a GOP measure funded by a single millionaire that would repeal the Climate Commitment Act, reversing protections for our air and water, forests and farmlands, jobs and transportation investments.
Washington needs an Attorney General who will work both within our state and across the country to prioritize the fight against climate change, not one who will roll back environmental safeguards and block future advancements.
Thank you!
