Re: Nick Brown for AG: Campaign Update
Date: July 2024
Lots of news today!
Nick is up on the air with his first TV ad! In the ad, Nick speaks directly to camera, stressing his experience and credentials as a former Army JAG officer, prosecutor, general counsel to Governor Inslee, and U.S. Attorney for Western Washington. He also emphasizes his understanding of what’s at risk if Donald Trump were to be elected, and that he stands ready to fight for the people of Washington State, including protecting a woman’s right to choose.
Also, The Stranger’s endorsements are out this morning and they are supporting Nick for Attorney General! They commended him for his focus on addressing the housing crisis and fighting wage theft and said “Experience wins out with Nick Brown, who rightly pointed out in his endorsement interview that no other candidate knew the Washington State Attorney General’s Office (AGO) as well as he did.” With both The Stranger and The Seattle Times endorsing Nick’s campaign, we have great momentum for the home stretch!
And finally, Nick’s opponent continues to face criticism for misleading voters about her work history, most recently from King 5 news who noted that she has now updated some of her materials to say “former” prosecutor, but high profile communications like the TVW video voters guide remain inaccurate.
Ballots coming out this Friday!
