This week, the Slumlord in Chief sicced a demolition crew on the White House, one of the most iconic symbols of our democracy.
Trump treated this storied building with the same respect he shows the decrepit shacks in Queens where he extracted his wealth. Also, par for the course with Trump, the funding is opaque while the bill keeps getting bigger. You couldn’t come up with a better metaphor for what he’s doing to our country, with the GOP’s full and unblinking support.
Well, Americans are organizing a groundswell of pushback. Over 7 million people marched in No Kings Day protests, and there are more than 1,101 NDTC candidates who are running next month to take back democracy.
Authoritarianism needs to be resisted on every level, and we are here to help you get the tools to do that. On the street, through effective protesting, to the ballot box in races from school board to Congress. Sign up to rise up.
