Across the country, Democrats are winning in red districts! This Pennsylvania state Senate seat is the latest red to blue flip.
In 2025, there are over 100k+ seats up for grabs, so even if you live in a red district, 2025 is your year to run for office!
Why this story is important:
Elections at every level of government matter and can have life or death consequences for people. Democratic Governor Andy Beshear vetoed a bill that ignores medical standards and further endangers people by defining what emergencies allow for abortion care.
Why this story is important:
This incompetence by Trump’s Cabinet members endangered the lives of our service members. It is common sense to communicate sensitive military plans through secure lines of communication, and a group chat with a journalist is anything but secure. If they can “lead” the country, you can run for office. 👊🔥
Why this story is important:
In the Trump administration’s latest attempt to undermine a free press, DOGE is going after NPR and PBS. If funding for these programs gets cut, people, especially in rural areas and news deserts, will have less access to credible reporting and the stories in rural America will likely receive less – if any – coverage.
