JD Vance: Welcome to the Resistance?
From the desk of Bibek, Senior Digital Strategist
It was a big week for the argument that the other side is doing our job for us.
JD Vance flew to Budapest to personally campaign for MAGA-hero Viktor Orbán, who lost — in a landslide. Meanwhile, Iran remains double blockaded and the conflict is at a lose-lose standstill. And then, in a move that was on nobody’s wildest bingo card, the recently converted VP proceeded to popesplain the Pope, thereby ticking off one of the largest swing voting groups in the US.
All of which is drowning out whatever point was behind the DoorDash stunt. Staged delivery. Pre-selected surrogate. Three different answers about how much she saved. Trump looked at the press and said “This doesn’t look staged, does it?” Even HelloFresh took a shot. Can’t run a country. Can’t run a photo op.
Are you thinking of running? We can help you learn how to run every corner of your campaign. Start here.
