Understanding and leveraging technology is more important than ever as Democrats work to knock every door and bring out every voter to the polls. Tech Time is designed to provide hands-on, step-by-step training on essential tools like VoteBuilder and MiniVan. Our focus will be on practical skills so you can efficiently plan and execute phone banking and canvassing tactics.
Upcoming Sessions:
1. Building a List in VoteBuilder
Date: Tuesday, October 1st
Time: 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET and 6:00 – 7:00 pm ET
This session will cover:
- How MiniVAN is used as a tool for direct voter contact
- The three key steps for setting up a canvass in VoteBuilder
- how to organize a MiniVAN campaign for your volunteers and organizers
2. Creating a Script in VoteBuilder
Date: Monday, October 7th
Time: 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET
This session will include:
- Types of voter contact scripts
- Building responsive, branched scripts in the tool
3. Creating a Virtual Phone Bank in VoteBuilder
Date: Wednesday, October 16th
Time: 1:00 – 2:00 pm ET
Topics will cover:
- Features of VoteBuilder’s Virtual Phone Bank
- Setting up a virtual phone bank step-by-step
If you already have access to VoteBuilder or MiniVan, you’ll have the opportunity to follow along and practice during each session.
