On June 14, people across the country came together in the largest day of protest in our nation’s history for No Kings Day. And in just a few weeks, we are going to make history again.
Since June, Donald Trump has ramped up his authoritarian agenda, wreaking havoc on our lives. He signed legislation giving the wealthiest people in our country the largest tax cut in history while cutting health care for 17 million people. He sent federal forces to occupy our nation’s capitol while threatening to invade cities across the country despite opposition from city and state leaders. Immigrants continue to be kidnapped by masked agents and deported with no due process. And so much more.
Trump is on a mission to consolidate as much wealth and power as possible while bulldozing our freedoms, security, and well-being. He believes his rule is absolute. But we say otherwise.
That’s why MoveOn is joining together with coalition partners for another peaceful No Kings national mobilization on October 18. RSVP now.
Events will take place in every state and in thousands of cities and towns—big and small—across the country. Our goal is that our nonviolent collective action will be even bigger than the last. Our movement is growing. No Kings in October is another opportunity to invite millions of Americans who are watching our nation slip into authoritarianism to collectively gather peacefully in the streets and show once again where the real power lies—with the people.
And this is not just a one-day event. Organizers are working hard to bring event attendees into our movement for sustained action to hold this administration accountable and block its fascist agenda.
