Dear MoveOn member,
It’s official: Election Day is just over one week away. While 32 million Americans have already cast their ballots, millions more have yet to do so.1 And together, we’re working to contact as many of them as possible, as soon as possible, to help ensure they turn out to vote for Vice President Kamala Harris.
MoveOn is hosting multiple phone bank sessions every day starting now through November 5. Our data team has identified the most crucial people in the most consequential states, whose votes could likely swing this election. But to make a real impact, we need a mass group of people to make these calls. To meet our voter contact goal, we need 250 people to sign up for every phone bank shift starting today.
Will you RSVP now for one or more phone bank shifts to contact voters about the importance of voting to elect Vice President Kamala Harris as our next president? At the beginning of each session, there is a short, comprehensive training, and support is available the entire time. If this is your first time, you will be taken care of and fully equipped!
Here’s a snapshot of what a few MoveOn members said about phone-banking this week:
- “So energized by these conversations and the feedback from the debrief at the end of the call. We are making a difference.”
- “Just chatted with a Kamala Harris supporter. She’s now taking 5 people to the polls with her on Saturday since they do not have a car! Wow!”
- “I reached someone at her place of work just now. She said, “Hang on, let me remind my co-workers to vote!” and all three shouted out which day they’ll be early voting.”
- “Training and support was excellent!”
You’ve heard this before, but the consequences of this election couldn’t be higher. On one side we have a candidate, Donald Trump, who will bulldoze over our rights, erode our democracy, and implement the dystopian Project 2025 agenda. And then there’s Kamala Harris, the candidate who will fight for our futures, freedoms, and families.
The choice is clear, and we must make it clear to voters across the country who have yet to vote. There’s just one week to leave it all on the field! Sign up to call voters now!
Phone-banking with MoveOn is a powerful, effective strategy. During these phone banks, members aren’t just talking AT people but are truly talking and listening TO people.
