Dear MoveOn member,

It’s Natasha Rothwell. You might know me from TV shows like “The White Lotus,” “Insecure,” or “How to Die Alone.” Or maybe you recognize my name from my openly dragging Donald Trump on social media during his time in office.

Every day for four years during Trump’s presidency, I tweeted my thoughts about him (hint: not so nice) as a daily reminder that nothing we were living through was normal or acceptable.

And this time around would be no different. Trump is still a major threat to our freedoms and communities and could do irreversible harm if he becomes the next president. Trump has made his agenda crystal clear: It’s anti-choice, anti-democracy, and very, very racist. He doesn’t care about the facts, just the clicks. Americans can’t afford four more years of his blundering and hateful rhetoric, let alone the dangerous policies he would put in place under Project 2025.

For the sake of our democracy, safety, and my own social media feed—we can’t go back to living under a Trump administration. The only way to prevent it is to make sure everyone votes for Vice President Harris on November 5.

One of the best things you can do during this home stretch is speak directly with Harris-Walz supporters in key states over the phone and help them turn out to vote. Will you join MoveOn for a shift?

I’m so heartened by the millions of people who have already cast their ballots in this election. Now, we’ve got just a few days left to talk to as many voters as possible and ensure every American gets the chance to make their voice heard.

Phone-banking is an easy and effective way to help people make it to the polls. Each shift begins with a brief training, and MoveOn couldn’t make it easier to jump in and get to work. There are a ton of options for scheduled shifts before the polls close, so you can choose a couple of hours that work best for you and your schedule.

MoveOn connects you with voters in key states who might not get to the polls to vote without hearing from you. These phone calls are so critical because you’ll be talking to folks whom we KNOW we need to turn out in order to win.
