We’re more than halfway through July. And right now, we’re short of where we need to be.
So we’re doing something simple today. We’re not asking you for a specific dollar amount. We’re just asking you to be one of 500.
MoveOn isn’t a big institution with deep pockets or a boardroom full of lobbyists—precisely the opposite, in fact! MoveOn is made up of millions of everyday people who believe we do better when we look out for each other.
People who believe healthcare shouldn’t bankrupt you. That your voice should count, no matter your zip code or your bank account. That no one—no matter how powerful—is above the law. That working people deserve a fair shot at an affordable life.
Those aren’t small beliefs. They’re the foundation of everything we do. And they don’t hold up on their own.
These beliefs run on volunteers who knock on doors and make calls because they believe it matters. On organizers who show up in communities that get overlooked. On members like you, who chip in what you can, when you can, because you know that real change is never handed down—it’s built, person by person, gift by gift.
That’s the whole model. No corporate donors bankrolling us. No wealthy board writing one big check to make the problem go away. Just people. Millions of us, doing our part.
We think about that a lot. It’s not glamorous. It’s not always visible. But it’s real, and it adds up in ways that matter.
We know inboxes are full of emails asking you to do something. We know it’s easy to scroll past this one. But we’re not writing to everyone today—we’re writing to you, because we believe you’re someone who shows up when it counts.
