- Change the narrative. When communities speak out, in every corner of our country, we disrupt the Trump administration’s false image of power and strength. As former Labor Secretary Robert Reich put it: “The Emperor has no clothes.” By putting up visible signs against ICE, we show that resistance is everywhere—and growing.
- Build courage. When people see so many others calling for an end to ICE’s atrocities, it gives them permission to speak up in their own lives—with family, at work, in their circles. Courage is contagious, and we need as many people in our country as possible to feel courageous.
- Give hope. We are living in terrifying and dangerous times. But when you know that your neighbors and friends refuse to accept ICE’s violence as normal, you feel hopeful that change is possible—and that together, we have the power to shape our future.
Our protests are working. Our resistance is winning. And we won’t let up until we’ve driven these masked, violent federal agents out of our streets.
