Dear MoveOn member,
Since taking office, the Trump administration has taken a wrecking ball to our public services, jobs, privacy, and rights. Donald Trump and his co-president, Elon Musk, are governing on behalf of themselves and their billionaire buddies, at the expense of the rest of us.
But the people have had enough! On April 5, hundreds of thousands of people across the country are coming together to take action and demand “Hands Off!”—no more billionaires raiding our government while working people and families struggle to make ends meet.
Join a local Hands Off! event in your community on April 5! Over 340,000 people have already registered to demand the end to the billionaire takeover of our country! With more than 1,000 events spread across all fifty states and Washington, D.C., there’s bound to be an event near you to attend!
Donald Trump and Musk think the country belongs to them—but it belongs to the people! It’s time for the government to start working for every person, not just the top 1%. This is our opportunity to come together to make clear to the administration that enough is enough. They need to get their hands off our rights and benefits and stop the attacks on our freedoms and our communities.

A core principle behind Hands Off! is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to join the events peacefully and to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values, and to act lawfully at these events.
