May has been a successful month for my campaign!
I received major endorsements from the Washington State Labor Council and Superintendent of Public Instruction Chris Reykdal; I knocked over 800 doors and spoke with voters about their hopes for our district. Last week, I doorbelled my childhood neighborhood and walked past my childhood home. I am proud of my east side roots and have never forgotten where I came from.
And, of course, I filed to run for office! I am officially the only Democrat in this race. Central Washington hasn’t elected a Democrat to the state legislature in three decades, but the data shows us that the newly redrawn 14th district can change that.
We need your help to flip this seat! Most people don’t know about this exciting opportunity that we have in the 14th district. Reaching Democratic supporters across the state and voters in our district to let them know what’s possible in 2024 will take resources. With that in mind, I have a goal to raise an additional $3,500 by the end of the month. I would greatly appreciate it if you would consider chipping in today to help me meet my goal!
