Earlier this year, after a drawn out legal battle, the courts created the new 14th district: a new Latino-majority district that is situated in Yakima Valley, spanning East Yakima to Pasco and included the Yakama Nation Reservation. This new district performs strongly Democratic, and I’m running to be Yakima’s first Democratic Latina State Senator.
We have an exciting opportunity to flip this seat blue in 2024. We can win this if we focus on turning out Latino voters and ensuring that they vote in down ballot races. To ensure my team and I are reaching every voter at the door, on TV, radio, online and in mailboxes, I need funds.
Voting is happening now, so time is of the essence. With that in mind, I have set a goal to raise an additional $5,750 by the end of July. We’ll need your support to reach that goal! Donations of all sizes will bring us closer to achieving our goal and increase the number of voters we can reach by August 6th. I hope you’ll consider making a contribution today!
Thank you for your support,
Maria
