Outside Republican special interests are hiring people from out of state to knock on doors in Central Washington and convince voters to re-elect Republican candidates to the state legislature. We can see on the Public Disclosure Commission’s website that these special interests are spending hundreds of thousands of dollars on bringing in outside canvassers. Some of these paid canvassers have come from California to Yakima to support our opponent’s campaign, but they don’t know our community or our needs.
We are running a grassroots campaign. Our canvassers are community members who volunteer their time to speak with their neighbors about the campaign.
