Today we remember the 10 lives taken at Santa Fe High School and the families, friends, and classmates forever changed by that violence.
Eight years later, the scars remain — and so does our responsibility to support survivors and stop this from ever happening again.
The truth is painful but simple: school shootings did not stop after Santa Fe.
There have been more than 252 school shootings nationwide since 2018.
That’s why every effort, act, and dollar matters to our movement.
The work we do fills the gap left by a government that fails to have the courage to address this epidemic head on.
We train school staff in threat assessment, fund survivor-led advocacy, and fight for policies that reduce the chance of another child being shot at school.
Our teams work with local leaders, parents, and school staff to expand mental health access and to hold elected officials accountable to pass measures that reduce the odds of another tragedy.
These programs run on small-dollar donations from people who refuse to accept gun violence as inevitable.
Thank you for remembering with us and for honoring those we lost.
With courage,
